so basically when we get our car back from winners window tint its filled with soapy water solution in the actual car near the actual window with the actual hard card actually
Thats all well and good but it doesn't quite work like that... what have you done to the tint before putting it on the rear window? I just tried this on my car and I have cresses and bubbles around the edges where the glass is so curved. It's like trying to wrap the inside of a football with wrapping paper without any cresses...
@lamborgini8 hence the reason you heat shrink it first. i did mine for the first time today and came out perfect only one tiny air bubble that sthat noticeable
abolute awesome videos you did man i have now got pre cut black box tint 20% dark for me vt commodore car in australia and got me tools and kit and heat gun also i have got all your vids and will post the car before and after the tint will record the step by step when i tint me ride thanks heaps for all your info and detailed vid cheers!!will tibt me car soon !!!!!:) costed me around $80 aus dollars included the tools cant wait to tint me vtbt1 cop car !!!!!!!:)
Nice car, just ashame this dude did'nt prep the parcel shelve or cover up all that nice tanned leather first . Costomers going to get foggy windows for a while.
i like youre video im still learning, on my own im getting better with the cuts and the shrinking but for some reason i keep gettin tiny bubbles, i use joy soap
I have a new drinking game: take a drink every time he says, 'take your time with it' while doing it at a speed most of us couldn't dream of achieving.
thats not true. Ive had tint on my window for 7 years and never once has turning on the rear defrost affected the tint. The rear defrost works great still. Maybe it was just your car or the tint. I dont know.

it depends on the tint and it CAN affect the tint that is why you go with the defrosters just for safety.
