  • The C64 games mag, Zzap!, actually gave this about 60% in their review 25 years ago. How wrong they were. This game was brill.

  • TURNBUCKLE FLY!!! I haven't thought of those words for about 25 years :D

  • Looks cool, really arcade. I've never seen this before! So I know what to do tonight on my C64 :). Thanks for add!

  • This was pretty fuckin good for 1985 or 1986.....loved this game

  • @babyrae1982

    I still love it. ^^

  • War das ne Zeit, die Schwutte mit dem Hut. :)

  • WOW!!!! I just looked this up just to see if it would pop up, and yep!!! LOol

  • used to have this on my amstrad cpc brilliant game!

  • Always loved the 'toward the camera' pin ... 03:23. The head looks retarded lol.

  • Oh...my...God. I played this shit out of this game when I was kid. Thanks for posting.

  • I was always the destroyer!

  • Loved this

  • Opponent 1: Hillbilly Jim

    Opponent 2: Goldberg

    Opponent 3: Iron Sheik

    Opponent 4: Hado Gay

    Opponent 5: Cowboy Bob Orton

    Opponent 6: Some punk

    Opponent 7: Tatanka

    Opponent 8: The Destroyer

Final Opponent: Some stupid guy with a stupid hat

  • I used to LOVE that the ring would shake. Never did learn how to kickout of a pin well though. Usually if you landed a pile driver and a leap off the top rope it was over.

  • in the states, this game was branded as Bop N Wrestle. At least our copy was. good times. lol

  • The music in this game sounds like the Road Rovers theme....complete with occasional barks.

  • Yeah skipped maaaannnnnny a day of school wit my older bro wresting on c64 which always result in him tryin the latest finisher on my in our living room,I was grounded for a week cuz my bro says "I'm tellin mom u broke the glass coffee table....."what do u mean??I said its fine and then a pile driver off the couch head first thru said coffee table....!ahhh thanx for the memories I think...

  • I can only remember 3 official names from the rule book:

Molotov Mick: 2nd opponent with bald head & eye-patch

    Vicious Vivian: punk dude

Lord Toff: last guy with the top hat

    Anyone know the rest?

  • Awesome!! brings back a lot of memories!!

  • This game brings me back since I was 8 years. That was some 20 + years ago. Thank you for posting this. Great video, music sounds good, Memories.

  • I spent THOUSANDS OF HOURS on this mindless fun on my C64!!

  • The noise when you kick, hit or knee your opponent is priceless. (As well as the voice of the referee). ^^

  • Too bad you couldn't get any moves from the backside. That back suplex was really hard to pull off!

  • All these years and I can still recall the music. Great game even the follow up was good...(body slamming grannies and apes in the city).

  • Wow....this takes me back.

I remember that funny music lol

  • Was this on Xbox 360?

  • I remember me and my cousin out town seeing this game for sale at Hills Department store. We used to watch wrestling all the time and couldn't believe they made a wrestling game for c64. Couldn't wait to get home to play it. Many..many hours of play. Great memories!

  • i used to own this game and thought it was okay ...but it really bugged me that all it usually took to pin someone was one move.

it was pretty much impossible to kick out.

  • Shieky Baby at 1:46, LOL

  • me and three friends played this game for 18 hours straight when we were kids

  • I could never get the hang of this game. I'd get my ass kicked every time.

  • wtf?

  • Ah, too young to remember the splendors of 8-bit gaming!

Me and my bro loved playing this game. It was very comical. Love it!

  • i loved it

  • Was called Bop'N'Wrestle in the UK where it was programmed.

  • it wasn't.

  • @billabongodrum You are right. I got it the wrong way around. My mistake.

  • Wow, I'd give you a millions dollars for posting this if I had it! I loved this game even if it did result in my older brother doing a piledriver on me on a hardwood floor! They should have said, "Please don't try this at home"

  • By far one of the silliest games ever made for the 64. I remember playing it a lot though. Jumping on your opponent from the corner always cracks me up. :)

  • cooool!

  • hehe the clothes line was cool i remember

  • LOVE THIS GAME

  • I remember the first time I beat Lord Tuff...

    "3-2-1"

    ...

    I was ecstatic :D

  • ooh, this must be Eyepatch's Calhound vs. the Wonderful Traveler?

  • this game rocked

  • @stunnerx13 And rolled! :)

  • Bop N Wrestle

  • I remember this game. The 1st wrestler was Farmer Bill. Then 1 eyed Jack. I used to use that pile driver move on them all.

  • Love this.

  • A true classic !!! Those were the days !!!

  • This was one of the most moronic games made for the 64 but also one of the funniest therefore it wins an awesome rating from me. :)

  • I used to love this game. Thanks for sharing.

  • It was almost the Village People Wrestling Federation....

  • i remember this game as Bop N Wrestle...i saw it in K mart and couldnt wait to get it...

  • Endlessly kicking a guy laying on the floor was the best stress relief available on the C64 :)

  • Lol.. ;)

  • Heh, played this one tons of times. I think I still even remember the basic controls like hold button, push towards your char's front then pull back to grab etc. This clip made me feel all giddy. XD

  • if this game were a dog, i would adopt it. and then i would name the dog "awesome nation".

  • lol joepod.you werent the only one who did the fantasy wrestling league using thr rock n wrestle demos.i was too.lol.

  • Thanks for the clip. Cant believe anyone else remembers this game.

The C64 era of gaming was fantastic, much more imaginative than some of the stuff nowadays.

  • This was my first wrestling game, and I can still remember the music, that I must have heard about 10,000 times in permanent repitition. I think I broke two joysticks on this game alone. Later, I actually ran a fantasy wrestling league by myself, using the wrestling match demos that ran when you weren't actively playing.

Yes, I was a loser, thanks for asking. :-(

  • I loved this game, My friends and I would make up names for the wrestlers. Such as the gambler was the guy with the grey bowler hat. Indian Joe was obvious. But the player you controlled was called golden boy.

    Classic game

  • haha we used to have names for them aswell and we used to call the main guy golden boy! we called him ric flair aswell coz i thought it was supposed to be him. the guy with the eye patch was the pirate. the first guy u fight was farmer giles. the guy in the white was the arab. the camp lookin guy in the pink with the 'tasche was john mccourt (named after my uncle!)and the 3rd from last guy with the big hair was called unicorn head for some reason! what a game!

  • This looks like the graphics of SmackDown Vs Raw 2008 lol jk

  • Haha! Awesome! I remember this game. It was so much fun at the time. There was also some Tag Team wrestling game on the C64 that we used to play. Good stuff. Thanks for posting!

  • The friggin song in from this game still plays in my head. Great game though. Joystick port 1.

  • What about the greatest Bop N' Wrestle finisher of all time...The Bleeding Heart Liberal. Your opponenet is down on the mat at the top of the ring. Take your guy and have him at the bottom of the ring facing the bottom ropes and press down and the button. Your guy will go flying backwards and land on the opponent. Another wonderful BNW glitch.

  • holyshit this game was fun. we give nickname to everyone of the wrestler and like makes comment on our fights like if it was wwf

  • awesome game forgot about this

been watching longplays of all these great games i could never beat for some reason ( i was like 7 years old)

  • This game ruled.... i loved it... Commodore Till I Die! Thanks daddy for buying me my first computer and computer game! :)

  • Well played indeed, although I missed some of the classic moves, such as the pile driver. Gotta love the music!

  • Thanx.. My first move is a piledriver. :)

  • Gee whiz, talk about a blast from the past! This takes me back 20 years to my early teenage years. C64, some of the best games ever.

  • WOW! Add me to the list of people that had this game. I always used the Ironhead Viking guy.

  • this game was awesome, me and my brother give name to all wrestler but only my bro was able to beat the game

  • it looks like ken patera

  • AWESOME! cant believe someone else bought that game

  • this brings back a few memories

  • Yeah! It was in the early 90's when I got bought this game. When I played it first, I were disapointed cuz' I thought it was a boxing game. I didn't hear 'bout wrestling at that time.

  • I remember this game.

  • Ha I thought i was the only one who played this-best c64 wrestling game ever!!!!
