god i hate when people say stupid things......you can run an engine on a stand without water for alot longer then that....it takes a while for the thermostat to even open
@5blacksmith5 If it really is a 253, it will say so under the exhaust manifolds. It's cast into the block in the same way as it is on the red sixes. If it's a 308, it will also say so on the block. However, if you discover it's a 253, don't auromatically swap it for a 308; they're a good compromise between fuel economy and power for a V8. Not to mention, anything that fits on a 308, bar pistons, will fit a 253
Proberbly not to good for my lungs, and as the title says it was only a test fire and i didnt run it for a very long period, and i don't see what the difference is here than with people who run there engines with straight pipes

Haha, yeah oil pressure alters with revs to, nah done it up and sold that 1, theres another vid of the same engine on here when its all done up.

Oh kay, would you know the difference between a 253 and a 308... My parents gave me a v8 kingswood but they dont know if its a 253 or 308...
