I liked the new show :) The length was better for me. I liked the content more too as general emerging technologies are interesting and also fun to consider giving me a broader feel.

The last season of LAS made it pretty clear that your enthusiasm for Linux has wained. Rationalize it all you'd like, but LAS distinguished you from the hundred other "computer shows". But hey, at least you don't have to feel guilty about preferring your Mac now.

The waining Linux enthusiasm has been pretty noticeable. It almost seemed like you rode along Linux for a long time, but came out dissatisfied with how far (or: not far) it came along.

I appreciate the new format, although I'd wished you guys would have gotten more hardcore instead of becoming more mainstream. :)

Chris, I've listened to and enjoyed nearly every Ep. of LAS. So, I know you guys aren't exactly "Mac Lovers". You clearly have a tumultuous relationship with the Mac, but I don't think you hate them. It's Apple you detest. "blndaniel" is correct I think. You ultimately came out dissatisfied with Ubuntu and now a more generic format allows you to use OSX without feeling like a hypocrite. (The "conflict of interest" you mentioned?) I'll give CAS a chance, but I'm disappointed in the new direction.
