Missionaries have caused more damage to the people of our earth and their cultures than anything else, ever. Missionaries are wrong.

Unfortunately their are many missionaries, pastors, evangelists in ministry who have not been called by God to do that work, and many who misrepresent Jesus Christ. Growing up going to chruch all my life I have witnessed this first hand seeing healthy and thriving churches being ripped apart by men who claim to represent God. At the end of the day however I know those men did not know God because they did not reflect the nature of God.

There are two unknown, who preach an everlasting truth in foreign lands, though the lands are not so foreign to the One who shake them in His hands. These carers of the Gospel who preach it wide and far and long. They are sent by God Himself to other nations and to other tongues. They suffer thrillies plains of winds past desert, sand and scorching heat.

That the Savior of their souls these foreigh hearts might come to me. In a word these two were selfless, they gave their all to serve their King. Bringing hope to other people, who had no praise to sing. These two are graet examples of what each of us should desire.

To see branches being grafted in and not cast into the fire. Through them seads are being sown and lies that we might never see and people great and small are finding hope and peace and victory. They will be rewarded great in Heaven for the deeds which they have done. And though we know not what those deeds are their audience is one. These two are one and mine for the message which they carry. I speak of precious saints, my friends, the missionarries.

Washer has probably done more to drive away potential Christians that any single atheist. He is atheism's best friend. Prediction-- Washer's own children will rebel against the yoke of this parochial fanatic. They will discover reason and become atheist.

0no1one, saw you asked about those who have never heard the name of Christ. Your answer is in Romans 1:18-23. God is just in all his dealings. If He were to never have sent us a Savior, He would still be good and just. So if there is a man in the jungles of South Africa who has never heard the name of Christ, and does not worship the one true God, he will be cast into hell. Why? Because he has sinned against God. Most people probably find this unfair, but God doesn't owe man anything.

My argument was never that I am going to heaven, but that I was given the chance as a bithright for being born in the western world 1000 years after it got officialy christened. Is it wrong for me to simplu ask "why?"

Fact is still the same:some cultures didnt get a chance to get to heaven for thousands of years! They are effectively denied his grace relatively to us who get it from our parents. All Im saying is there must be a reason for this! Not 'why us' but 'why not them'. There are people on all continents that still have never heard about the Bible and are going to suffer forever for that. Jesus Christ said until the whole world hears the Gospel the end will not come. Everyone has at some point heard the word of God but hasn't gone to pursue it. Everyone knows of Jesus christ but they don't know him personally until that person with his heart asks God to save him. they don't need another man to save them but Christ

Because I have actually heard the gospel and read the Bible.. alot of people never have, simply because they were born at the wrong place at the wrong time.. Are you saying they have the same chance to enter heaven as you and I? most people live in parts of the world that wasnt exposed to christianity untill a few hundred years ago, some even to this very day. With the example you gave of cats, I suppose the best way to illustrate it would be to say, what if those cats had one mission in mind - to kill you. Would it then be cruel to only feed one (one that you chose not on basis of what the cat has done, but purely out of grace and love)

Well, there's the thing. You said you love them equally. That would be assuming God loves all men equally (and I know this brings up many many arguments, please don't expect me to to an exegetical study of this because I am not a teacher). Look at the story of Jacob and Esau. God said that He loved Jacob but hated Esau. Many people seem to overlook that. The reason I brought up the cats hating you was to illustrate how men hate God, and all we deserve is His wrath.

You say every person who ever lived have heard of Jesus? If you dont understand that most people through history NEVER heard of the Bible, then theres no point discussing this with you. How about Marco Polo? When he came to China 700 years ago, no one there knew about christianity and he was asked to preach for them. Anyone who died in China prior to that, are according to the Gospels now slaves of Satan for eternity, as there is only 1 path to salvation. Same with America before Colombus etc
