Did the Injen intake make your car go faster?

@KrziiFlipRyder any cold air intake gives you an unnoticeable amount of HP gain. for 200 bucks you get 5hp. people get it because it sounds louder and it looks cooler. I personally like the look of ARC intakes mainly because they look stock but everyone knows its a great intake.

I have a question, I'm not looking to completely supe up my TC or anything like that I just don't want it to be a stock piece of shit. However it is automatic, do you recommend I get the TRD exhaust with the Injen CAI? Like I said I don't plan on investing much money on it, I just don't want it to be weak sauce either. :S

@adxgr0undzer0 CAI and a catback exhaust isnt going to give you that much low end power, in fact it may lower it. however, both will make your car feel more responsive and you'll feel a pretty big difference at higher rpms. i would get a header to go with the exhaust as well.

I wouldn't say the tc is a "sports car", but more like a "sporty" car. It's no where close to a Genesis Coupe, Eclipse, Camaro, or 350z (and those are just midrange sports cars). For the price it does have really good performance and features, but it doesn't stack up against real performance cars.

Just put it on your self it would only take like 30-45 minutes for the exhaust if you have no clue what your doing, 15-20 if you do.

I agree the WRX is a great car but, that doesn't mean the tc is a pos. I'm sick of hearing the tc hating and all the this car is better so yours is a pos/ricer. Hands down, both cars are great! Stop with the hating bullshit!

I put my Injen CAI and ingalls stiffy and it sounds sooo much different. Every time i press the gas i hear this nice revving sound, pretty loud in the cabin and i dont even have headers or an exhaust

I think these cars look cool, they've got a lot of nice features, but the only compact car that sounds good with an exhaust is any wrx, because of the engine. I used to have one and it made the sweetest rumbling sound when it was in low rpms.

it is a camry engine, but i think toyota has made such a great engine... you can't get that deep sound on other cars in the same class range imo. with this exhaust, i think you can geet a header too and still sound decent.

I have this exact same setup on my car, and this vid doesn't do it justice. Not only does it sound like that from the rear, but the intake alone sounds amazing. I went from straight stock to this, and the differece is unbeielvable. This exhaust is one of the least ricey exhausts that i have ever heard for a 4-cyl.

Less restrictive air flow = better gas mileage & more HP... depends how you drive it. I have the Injen CAI, and I've been getting about 20-30 more miles per tank assuming I drive conservatively. Of course that's not gonna happen when you wanna hear the nice sound it makes :-)

Actually its colder air, air is more dense when its colder so u actually get more air in a smaller volume, since u want 16 air molecules per 1 gasoline molecule you can use less gas to produce the same power, but yes it is less restrictive which also yeilds better performance
