Very good review, good enough to convince me to purchase it on eBay today for $30 bux... A bit pricey but I believe it's worth it next to my PCC collection. I use my version of the stories with M-Bay version of the Legends/Legion Transformers... As the original 13 Primes sacrificed themselves to protect the Matrix, when Sam uncovered them, so does the Autobots and N.E.S.T. Science Intelligence Division. They took the remains of those PRIMES in TF ROTF and constructed the New Breeds of Dinobots!!

i came up with my own name for the combined mode, but i found out someone else gave it to their own custom dinobot combiner set using the g1 characters. the name was "Extinction"

Weird, Grimstone has some simularities with Grimlock, his 'Shell' forms his shoulders, his guns fold out the same way as grimlock's T-Rex claws do.

If I'm not mistaken, the back of the box calls the Dimetrodon a Spinosaurus. As a guy who was a dinosaur-loving kid, I made a funny face when I saw that. Planning on getting this guy soon, though, thanks in part to this video.

I've just realised that Grimstone is the only Powercore Commander that DOESN'T ave a powerlink port on his chest to attatch minicon armour to (unless I'm mistaken)- maybe he's so badass he doesn't need it?

I could see Swoop or Snarl training them all in a Cybertron bootcamp or something though LOL! @Peshi80 Since we probably will never see the other Dinobots in Classic new forms, I think having these guys next to Grinlock would be a decent substitute.

Like Grimlock askes Willjack to make some 2nd Generation Dinobots for him.

I can see them plowing their way through some Decepticons. The combined mode looks better than any ot the other PCC. A must buy for me.

@nakobass28, on the contrary I have Clasics Grimlock and he goes quite nicely with my other 4 G1 Dinobots. Which is why I made that comment. And as far as Decepticons go, PCCs wouldn't be released for any major battles, they'd more like be asigned to pest control aka Insecticon swarms until they've proven themselves worthy....But fear not, Hasbro's been knocking them out the park with all the Generations and Reveal the shield figures so never say never when it comes to more Classic Dinobots!

i have to say normally the power core combiners look like a steaming pile of shit, but these dino-bots are AMAZING! they still need improvement, but nun the less the BEST of all the power core combiners. They really just need to add defined articulation to the drones (limb wise, and alt-mode wise).

Wondering TF Source planning to improve this figure. Just need articulated hands from the looks of it but a very solid and attractive figure as it is. For me looks a lot more Aztec like, kinda reminds me of Magnaboss. I also like that all the drones don't stand out so much in size from the commander.

Grimstone is either an Avaceratops or Anchiceratops. Two small horns on the forehead and one small horn on it's snout. The one that looks like G1 Slag.
