Living in the south, in high school most of the black students called me a white boy just because I didn't act like the stereotype of a black person they see and were influenced by. I've had negative experiences with black people. In jr. high we had to walk on egg shells around blacks because they were always looking for a fight and had hair trigger tempers. I had my wallet stolen by blacks. I saw friends who were beaten up by blacks.. My 81 yr old mother was knocked down by a black and her purse was stolen. Blacks do commit more crime and thats why many more of them end up in prison. Many of them cannot control their tempers and have a victim mentality.

There are many things that are wrong with African Americans, because of the trama and terror that black people has experienced in this country, by other ethnic groups. Our consciousness is falsified and malajusted and we have been enduced to believe that we are criminal, thugs, and less intelligent. However, if we change ourselves, we will change the perception of ourselves. And no other group is going to do that for us!
I'm a white woman who has not only fostered black children, but am in the process of adopting a black child. Many black people have a problem with us raising a black child, but very few black people step up and either do not want to adopt or do foster care. I see it too often in the system where fathers want nothing to do with their kids, mothers don't have the resources or coping mechanisms to raise their kids. Until the black family unit is solidified, these problems will always exist.
Our media is responsible for shaping our ideas and perceptions of the world. And as the media is politically biased, they are also racially biased as well. They are too big and powerful to change. Accountability amongst all people - black and white, needs to take precedence. Say what you want about the Jews, but they're smart! They are united, they take care of one another, they believe in education, they became self-sufficient or wealthy by having strong work ethics and values.

I grew up in a town that was full of black people who migrated from Detroit, Milwaukee, etc etc and the unfortunate truth is that the vast majority of black people in my home town really suck at life. It has jaded every body in my hometown towards black people. I find that many young blacks put forth a "thug" persona and try to act like rappers. Asians have the stereotype of being smart because they work at it. They embrace it. Education is important to their community. Um, white stereotype is the worst. We are assumed to pay our bills, fill up at gas station and pay for it. We are assumed to be calm and patient doesn't matter what kind of business we do. We are assumed to have a job, or at least some other way to pay for the loan.

The negative perception of Africans is a calculated construct. Blacks have old enemies, whether in the physical or spiritual. How that came to be is beyond me, we have lost a significant portion of our history. I don't think as a collective group that we should even attempt to tackle this perception because its a manufactured and well-maintained lie that is accepted by other races in ignorance. It has always been us against them, and will continue forever.
I think there is racism because blacks mostly bring it on them selves. Blacks have the highest crime rate per capita in the US more than any other race and they only make up about 15% of the population.

Change your mind/spirit, be proud of yourself and love another. If you want to change, change yourself first.
Really I believe the biggest problem is missing some sort of spiritual guidance. Spirituality teaches self respect and for others, discipline, self love and for others, to act in a decent manner and to not swear anymore. Proverbs and the 4 gospels are full of knowledge and life lessons. So I would advice to pick up a bible and soak up the wisdom.

If you think that then you probably never read the bible or understood it really. The books I mentioned aren´t about hell at all but about positive and uplifiting message. Bible to me is man´s intrepretation of happenings often inspired by God. To me Yahweh (God) is uncondtional love, mercy and peace, like His Son preached. So to me the bible is the most inspirational beautiful book. Now I read it and try to understand the symbolism and deep message. It is quite rewarding.

I am a white person and I live in a predominately black neighborhood close to my university. I've worked along blacks in many jobs or worked as a supervisor. After countless experiences it's hard to not immediately assume that a typical black person is impoverished, uneducated, lacking a drive to learn, hostile towards whites, and resistant to doing a satisfactory job. Of the black people attending my university only a handful are truly interested in pursuing education.
Plenty of the black people are nice, but my goals and interests tend to not align with a majority of black people. Sometimes I think we need to pump more money into black school districts to try and get more blacks on equal footing with whites, but at the same time I wonder if it would do any good when I've seen countless examples of blacks being uninterested in pursuing a better future.

I've had negative experiences with black people. In jr. high we had to walk on egg shells around blacks because they were always looking for a fight and had hair trigger tempers. I had my wallet stolen by blacks. I saw friends who were beaten up by blacks.. My 81 yr old mother was knocked down by a black and her purse was stolen. Blacks do commit more crime and thats why many more of them end up in prison. Many of them cannot control their tempers and have a victim mentality.

Many black people have a problem with us raising a black child, but very few black people step up and either do not want to adopt or do foster care. I grew up in a town that was full of black people who migrated from Detroit, Milwaukee, etc etc and the unfortunate truth is that the vast majority of black people in my home town really suck at life. It has jaded every body in my hometown towards black people. I find that many young blacks put forth a "thug" persona and try to act like rappers. Spirituality teaches self respect and for others, discipline, self love and for others, to act in a decent manner and to not swear anymore. Bible to me is man´s intrepretation of happenings often inspired by God. To me Yahweh (God) is uncondtional love, mercy and peace, like His Son preached. I am a white person and I live in a predominately black neighborhood close to my university. I've worked along blacks in many jobs or worked as a supervisor. After countless experiences it's hard to not immediately assume that a typical black person is impoverished, uneducated, lacking a drive to learn, hostile towards whites, and resistant to doing a satisfactory job. Of the black people attending my university only a handful are truly interested in pursuing education.

Plenty of the black people are nice, but my goals and interests tend to not align with a majority of black people. Sometimes I think we need to pump more money into black school districts to try and get more blacks on equal footing with whites, but at the same time I wonder if it would do any good when I've seen countless examples of blacks being uninterested in pursuing a better future.

From the beginning of recorded human history, our species has done horrendous things to each other based on the dumbest criteria, like religion or race, and it continues today. Then after this, they will search for what they don't have in common, what sport teams they support, where they come from etc.
They've labeled themselves in groups, this is human nature, but also observed in animals living in societys, such as wolves, whale packs etc who are suspicious of outsiders.

Why can't people just get along? Strip away our skin and we're all the same damn color. If you're rushed to the hospital and in need of blood it's not labeled by color or race. @paradisegem actually there are many more differences then just skin color, such as more layers of skin, liver, skull, brain, teeth, fingers and toes, chest cavities and overall shape and design. such as how Caucasians have what they call a "rats tail" or the little bone in their noses. there are many but since we have the overall same general shape and for the most part can reason with one another then that is what it means to be human.
