I would be very pleased if you could re-edit this, the coaster part was AMAZING, but the introduction & ending could have been better (I think). And if you want this to be super awesome, find a new font for the ride. Just little tips :)
@MegaSkulldude It was made on Windows Movie Maker, well before I got Adobe Premiere, and so I agree that the editing is a bit crap on the intro and outro. However, I'm happy enough with it to keep it as it is. I don't have the park file or video clips from the ride, so could not re-edit it anyway.
@passbrother Well, since the ride was achieved using multiple rides (a total of 5 tracks were spliced together to look like one), I had to launch the rides from the stations to their correct filming locations.
Right, the key to this, is the night-time cut-off point. In RCT3, night-time starts at 20:36 pm. Set your fireworks display to begin at this time. Secondly, grab a pen and paper, and time the coaster. Note down the times that major events happen. Then, go into mixmaster, and add effects to the corresponding times. To synch the two, make sure the coaster leaves the station the moment that night-time starts by switching day to night. ...I may make a tutorial on this later....hold that thought....
if i didn't see it i would've said it'd be impossible... truely awesome ride, perfect scenery and effects, only thing i disliked was the braking was a bit to abrupt at some times, but the scenery, effects and story definitely make it worth 5/5
Yeah, amidst all the special effects and video trickery, the coaster itself kinda got left in the cold. Many of the brakes were needed abrupt for editing purposes though.
Wow that was totally worth the wait! The best part is I could totaly see that in an actual theme park. That ride was on the level of a Disney Ride. 10/5
awesome, for some reason the begginng trailer reminded me of the film rose red (perhaps because happy jazz music was bieng played on a very macabre story plot). if you had played "somewhere beyond the sea" at the ending that also would have made me think of rose red (ever seen the movie?), but still, awesome vid heth.
which is exactly the same thing they used at the end of the movie. i love the irony of happy music on a macarbe setting, it makes for an interesting story.
another theme displayed here that is also in the movie is that of huanted places and graves being built on by stubborn people dispite how hard the ghost try to scare or kill the workers and people there. im not saying you copied the movie, im only saying that i saw a few similarites. it was a good movie, you should see it.
It sounds very interesting I must say. That was, of course, why Poseidon goes kinda nuts in this video. This point isn't elaborated much, but the temple is a sacred place, and the construction work by the Papyrus River Resort Co. disrupted the site.
Amazing. Loved it. 5 stars. Especially good job on the part where the water breaks through the wall. They should make real rides out of your rides, Heth. I would ride this.
It's a complicated story, there is a "Complete Backstory" video that might explain it better. In short, the God Poseidon is annoyed. The song is Dalai Lama by Rammstein.

Thank you very much. I do take a lot of pride in choosing the best music I can for a ride.

So it seems... Looked at your other vids and it was the same thing. Keep it up!

No custom scenery at all?
teddlesking 2 years ago
Nope, I've never used Custom Scenery. It's all in-game scenery, or edited fireworks. You'd be surprised what you can do with the in-game scenery :p
Hethethethscorchio 2 years ago
You just shown me what you can do with =)
Im amazed, 5/5 for sure
teddlesking 2 years ago
Yep. I made a Jurrasic Jungle ride with no CS :)

This is the third time I've watched this. It's really good! I wish I could do as well as you on RCT3. How do you synchronize mixmaster with the ride?

I've never seen that film myself. The music was chosen entirely based on the ironic happy atmosphere, given that we all knew things would go bad.

Unbeliveable for a coaster with no CS. The effects, the Music, the Narration, and the flooding scene. Amazing. One of the best I have EVER seen.
