I have around 60 versions of the band playing this song,at a guess I would say its Ben King on guitar,John Idan on bass and vocals,plus original members Jim and Chris.
Very Interesting. I think this could be early John Idan era Yardbirds. Some 15 years ago. I saw them at the restarted Crawdaddy club at the Richmond athletic grounds cc 1990 not sure exactly. To good a recording for the early 60s.
@Ravenite1 Hi, my interpretation is that the lineup is as per the picture and list above; with Jeff Beck on lead and Jimmy Page on 2nd or co-lead which was circa 1966 as per their appearance in the art movie " Blow Up ". This is a great live version; I love the lead / co-lead guitar work here ! Thanks for uploading. Regards.
Great live version, thanks for uploading; regards.

Ben King is a really lacking guitarist.
Fuck...I play these Yardbirds songs with more balls in my basement than this guy does on stage.

I am suprised you would actually learn these old songs but that is cool that somebody is doing it

@asmorgan88 yeah man you're right ben king guitar is powerless but in this isn't ben king, on vox is definetely John Idan with Mccarty and Dreja

@craneo2099
Yeah - I hear it now...it's definitely Idan singing.

Somebody else said they thought it was Ben King on guitar, so that's where the comment came from...
I emailed Ben King on Facebook, telling him he lacked balls in his playing...he got very emotional about it.

I, too, think it's a recent vintage Yardbirds. When they played this song live in 1967-68, there was no rhythm guitar because they were a four-piece.

I think this could be a recent lineup, with the originals McCarty and Chris Dreja.

I am not sure what the year was... But the line up was Jeff Beck, Jim McCarty, Chris Dreja, Jimmy Page, and my favorite Keith Relf.
