Actually it has a shade type screen that you can pull over the glass to block out the sunlight and provide shade in the summer time.

The sun shield stops heat pretty well. The CDC glassback roof is better though, it has 3 layers of ceramic tint which stops heat dead.

I had a Glassback installed on my highly modified '07 GT. It isnt for everybody but I love mine. It compliments my 2 tone paint & really sets my car apart from the double stripe crowd. I am thinking of building a second 'stang & Ill probably put one on that car as well.

Would love to have this feature. Ever since I saw it on the 05 concept coupe. Sunroofs look funny on mustangs, but the glassroof is a nice touch. If it gets to hot, it has a screen that slides to cover it up. If you just want a "muscle car" then don't order this option. Cause that's the beauty of options.
