@dawgfan24348 --- if you think huge corporate media conglomerates are "far left", then you're quite naive. hell, not even the democratic party is particularly "leftist" these days --- in spite of the rhetoric from the other side of the aisle.
@dawgfan24348 --- "common sense" ought to tell you that NO big business is liberal. it's obvious that msnbc has been batting for the dems in recent years, but this is part of the partisan "side-show". msnbc is meeting a consumer demand, just as fox does with it's programming. these networks help promote the false idea that there is still choice in this country; in reality, we have two right-wing parties -- the democratic party, and the farther-right republican party.
Oh so it's completely fine for MSNBC to be democratic? And there still is choice in this country it's called getting off your ass stop complaining and voting. Unlike the president the people have direct results for the governors, senators, and Representatives.
Yes big buisness can be liberal or democratic your just stuck in your own little world where the republicans control everything and you believe the dems never have any power.
@5ken7 --- actually, i wasn't saying that at all; i was commenting on the monopoly on power that is shared by the big two political parties (don't expect big contenders from a third party any time soon) --- and that power is used for a mostly "conservative" agenda by both parties. and i never said it was fine for msnbc to bat for the dems --- i find the "partisan sideshow" a distraction from real issues. but i hold my opinion on all big business being conservative; "liberalism" doesn't make $.
