am I the only one who thinks some of this is a bit off? so a woman should subject her gifts and purpose in service to one person?So when we give an account before Christ, we are judged on being wives and mothers? It is a shame that the stories of the women of Biblical times were not included and are overlooked. Though a woman can be submissive to the headship of a man, she is accountable to her King. We can prophesy like Deborah,preach like Mary, teach like Priscilla and still honor our men.

Agreed--if you're married, read Titus 2:4-5... to not do these things is to blaspheme our King Jesus Christ. Women can be teaching other women and children, not men. It is true what Ravi said also, women do get more respect in this view--but the point is clear from Scripture in the order of marriage. If it's not a willful submission either, don't bother--your true fruit will show.
I can absolutely appreciate a thourough and precise holy ghost filled teacher of the gospel when I hear one. Dr. Bauchaum you have truly blessed me for I have assidously embarked on this quest of learning my role as a woman of God. So Thank you! We as women have so many negative connations attached to our culture that we need to learn how to undo if we are to go forth in the Lord. I thought of what if my wife was at work (my wife has been at home) and if her boss asked her to do something would she obligate herself to listen. My mom works, BUT she still manages to maintain her home. Her kids are still her priority, dinner is always fixed for the family, the clothes are still taken care of by her n the works. So is this sort of role "wrong" according to scripture?
He addressed that earlier. There is nothing wrong with a woman working as long as her HOME and FAMILY come first. As long as her first responsibility does not suffer, it is OK.
The Issue i have with marcdaddy33's comment is that the bible doesnt teach submission only to Godly husbands. I Peter 3 is testimony to this. Submission is regardless to the spiritual condition of the husband. I think that if anything should be said we should say that the wife should submit regardless but ESPECIALLY if the husband is a Godly man.

It may be easier to submit to a godly man but this is not the point. Read 1 Peter 3 and you shall see that it is precisely female submission that can turn an ungodly man into a believer.
By refusing to submit to ungodly husbands ,women give a very bad image of christianity to the husband in Satan's chains. Do they think of HIS salvation ?
