The reality is not that non-muslim people are being prejudiced against the muslims. It's that the muslims faith tells them to dehumanize and devalue everyone who is not them. What the world is reacting to is a people who's values are intolerant, absolutist, and inately threatening...but because it does qualify as an official religion, they can cry afoul when people challenge their cruel, sexist, homophobic, self-righteous and hateful way of thinking which corodes anything it touches.
