  • that snake no he or she no it scared of me so i don't even wan't him or she to look at me or i will snap it up by its little tiny head so don't look at me

  • I was bitten by a Black mamba twice on my scrotum a few years ago. It wasn't that big a deal, I just walked it off. People exaggerate its capabilities

  • if all mambas were to disappear because you (personally) were given some godlike ability to decide that, i'd think only a fool would say "let's keep the mambas."

  • not bad, it isn't rare to survive from a black mamba bite, but it isn't easy either.

  • future Warriors Preject Inc support maasai

  • WELL TYPING IN ALL CAPS ISN'T A SMART MOVE SO YOU BETTER TURN IT OFF

  • @Skoredger What????????

  • That helped so much. Medical people say don't do that. But it worked this time. He didn't panic either. Very brave.

With out stressing out (which would be very hard for any body) the venom didn't travel through the blood stream.

That was the key. and the expectational medical care once he got to Meserani Snake Park. $2000 US dollars later in medical treatment to save that boy. Black Mamba you lose this time. Meserani Snake Park Saves Many Lifes.

  • TIEING THE ROPE AROUND YOUR LEG WAS A VERY SMART MOVIE, THATS PROBABLY WHY YOUR ALIVE TODAY, GOOD JOB MAN!~

  • Dangerous snakes, and very hard for these people to avoid. They are not common in the more urbanized and populated areas. But the rural areas come into conflict with mambas often, which is unfortunate.

  • I have seen a lots of cobras and russels viper in INDIA, and catched them, but when i came to know about mamba i went to africa, it was in the outskirts of camroon i found a black mamba me and my friend and a local villager try to catch it it struck my friend on of his leg went useless ,thats were i came to know why it is called THE SHADOW OF DEATH.

  • Love Mambas. They are also some of the fastest snakes in the world.Remember the Black Mamba bicycle make? The black mamba is grayish in color with a black mouth and tongue. Pole sana.

  • your a lucky guy!

but you cannot blame the snake either it is a wild animal puff adders too.

i hope that humans find a way to live in peace and harmony with snakes one day.

  • great story

    fuckin mambas

  • Good thing he lived! It's a shame mambas get such a bad wrap for being aggressive, when often times they're being defensive. They wig out pretty easily and will go nutso when they feel threatened. I'm happy this man survived, the rope around his leg is probably what saved him (so he could be treated by the real heros, the doctors).

  • when i was in tanzania, we stayed in a masai village for a few days, and they often warned us about the mambas. we saw a few puff adders but no mambas.

  • you are lucky not have come across the Black Mamba very dangerous deadly snake.

Puff adders not so good either.

  • Theres no Tissue destruction with Mamba's is there?

I know some spitting cobra's are both neurotoxic and Cytoxic

  • hes lucky to keep hisfeet but then again hes extremely luckyto be alivE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mamba's are Neurotoxic. They don't induce Necrosis, so there's less chance of him losing his leg than there is of him dying. Much less.

However, yes, I agree. He is very very lucky to be alive.

  • I have heard a story of some young Maasai children hearding their cows. They cornered a Black Mamba and where throwing stones at the Snake. The Black Mamba wiped out 5 kids and 6 cows in its path trying to escape. All victims died, including the cows. I don't think this snake compares to any other snake in the world. The Black Mamba will get revenge!!!

  • The mamba is the fastest moveing snake in a straight line!!

  • black mamba is the deadlist cuz its quickness

but the taipan has a more lethal venom strike

  • hes lucky he dont look that bad for snake wit that potency...

  • This video was taken about 7 days after the Mamba attack. It wouldnt have been very appropriate video taping him when he was lying on his death bed, with his family looking on wondering if he was going to live or die. Prier to that he was a very very sick man, and very lucky to be alive.

  • yea that makes sense......he definately is one lucky man.....

  • @tans40 the amount of time it takes for the venom to kill you is 15 min, not 7 days... he would of been dead already

  • @paintballpaul01 It actually depend on how fast your blood circulate. Some people loose hope and the heart pumps faster hence spreading the Neurotoxic venom even more.It can even take a minimum 6 minutes to collapse.

  • Yes I agree, but the Black Mamba is very aggressive and will chase you.

A lot of other poisonous snakes will shy away rather than attack. This is certainly not the case with the Black Mamba

  • Some snakes kill more people. A few are more poisonous. But herpatologists generally agree the Black Mamba is the one the least want to handle. Very aggressive, very fast, very poisonous... all with an attitude.

  • venom man....they dont have poison.....

  • Nice to know that there are people out there who actually know the difference

  • yea there definately is a difference n a lot of people dont understand that until u explain it to em...then theyre like ohhh ok....common misconception i guess....

  • Rare story. The Mamba will chase you!

  • The deadliest snake in the world. Thank god they are only in africa. DO NOT FUCK WITH THE BLACK MAMBA!

  • wrong second deadliest the deadliest is the inland taipan....look it up

  • In terms of venom potency yes the inland taipan is deadlier, however the mamba has a faster strike and can move faster than the taipan

  • yes but how rarley is it the case that sombodys counting there striking and all that as there deadlie factor?u know wut i meen? its ussaly there venom but u do have a point

  • Bottom Line I'd never want to get bit by either of them. Death would follow shortly.

  • Hardly anyone encounters the inland taipan and that is why there are no recorded deaths, so it is hardly the deadliest even if it is more venomous. The mamba is overall a much more dangerous snake.

  • guys, everyone knows that the eel is the deadliest snake alive. read a thesaurus... duh.

  • HAHAHAHA The eel is not a snake hahaha man. Thx for making my day hahaha.

  • i was being retarded.

  • ok lol

  • Lucky Guy.

  • Getting bit by a black mamba would be the worst feeling ever!

    gratz on surviving =D

  • i dont wanna meet this snake ;)

  • awesome video guys! so interesting to see, and congratulations on saving him :)

    GO Snake Park!!!

  • thanks to the amazing medical staff at the clinic for saving this brave lads life, take care, cheers
