This is so true. I've been practicing this idealistic habit for some time now. I figure if I write it all down, something will work and be gold. I used to text myself ideas on drunken walks home when I was in college. Those ideas never really turned into poems. What's nice is that this poem is actually the successful product of those crappy ideas, which is BRILLIANT.
