  • OH NO!!! DOUBLE 13s!!! "Too Many Rivers" peaked at No. 13 and spent a total of 13 weeks in the Top 100 in 1964...

    The B/side of this record also charted; but just barely, it stayed one week in the Top 100 at No. 98 {titled "No One"}

  • Linda Ronstadt can sing with the best of them in any genre--including the Hispanice music she has produced.

  • ...and yes I lived in Detroit (motown) that summer this was a huge hit both on sides of the river.....great job Brenda !

  • Such a great song by a great lady.

    Thanks

  • And we can't seem to beg, borrow or steal a Lead Sheet or a tab for this one.

Such a shame that it's being lost to antiquity.

  • exelente¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • On the way back to the States from Vietnam in 1966 this song by Brinda was playing in Okinawa everywhere their was a raido.Along with Hot meals,Hot showers this was a breath of Joy.

  • Name one female songstress that can come close to this lady. Her voice is incredible. She could sing anything. She started out singing as a kid and just got better! What classics she made.........way to go, Brenda

  • Me revive mis años, manteniendome mas joven¡¡¡¡¡

  • Come on now, folks. Does it really get any better than this? And while you're at it, have you heard her version of Mickey Newbury's great song, "Sweet Memories?" If not here, you can find it on MySpace. Brenda Lee.........one of the best ever.........one of a kind..........can listen to these a hundred times back to back......... and every bit as fresh the hundredth time!

  • ...a big hit on Detroit's pop stations in the summer of '65...!

  • Magic!

  • One of my all time favorite Brenda Lee songs and it was also my late father's favorite song by her.

  • True, 'dover'- but in this song, Brenda assumes the role of a woman forced to end her relationship with "her man". How can that "brighten up" somebody's day? This is poignant...and ultimately sad.

  • There's nothing like a Brenda Lee song to brighten up your day !

  • Absolutely beautiful song & voice .

    Really i like it .Thanks

  • Very beautiful!
