This is a topic that I am unsure where I stand. On one hand, I like the appearance of the 'frame' and border of the screen with the glass/reflective screen, and the contrast appears to be better under darker lighting conditions, and on the other hand the non-glossy screen is handy for 'ouside work', but I think the appearance is tacky with the silver border.
Meh. If all you use your laptop's mobiltity for really is to lay around in different postions in your room, then go with the glossy. It gives much richer contrast and if light isnt an issue for you, no need to worry about glare. This guy really does sound/look like Christian Bale, haha he definantly reminds me of him. :P
do u yourself use this abti glare product? would u say that is can sounter the majority of the glae on the guys laptop in the video? I wanna gloss mac but then a anti glare screen will be sweet!
well i dont use it personally but there are reviews on here by itsmemorphious which is superb and if you wanted a 15" macbook pro apple have a matte screen option for around £40 extra
I ended up not buying one when they came out, because of that glare. I could see the glare in the store! Apple you need to change this or you end up in court with a bunch of angry people with eye problems from this!
Thanks Michael! I agree with you on this con and for me glossy is not an option unfortunately. I've had two MBP's and hope Apple changes their mind on this.
I agree with you, it is very glossy and reflect everything. It's a thumb down for Apple from me on that area but everything else is GREAT like you said. Nice reviews and keep up the Nice work.
Yeah but im going outside with it

Good luck with all your reflections on the screen. Or trying to watch the monitor when it's bright.

The decision whether to buy a glossy or matte LCD monitor is NOT subjective.
everuone who tells you glossy is better is retarded, blind or is selling that shit!
only reason this faggots are pushing glossy shit is because it is cheaper to make

Just one thing gerbliminded, I've heard even though the glossy screens give glare, they are better for your eyes surprisingly enough.
