I C, well fortunatly this plane didn't reach the railroad track or this would be a real big disaster, because on the news I saw a railroad track in the backround of the crash site, if it reach the track and its on the track then the plane would be ran over by a freight train.
@sideslide23 The railroad tracks (Chicago Belt Railroad) are a lot further than they appeared on the video (actually a good 1/8th of a mile away) and there are structures in the way. The trains on the Belt Line aren't going anywhere in a hurry, so unlikely there would be a problem unless a train was on the track.
its not an Flight simulator. its an animation from the black box of the plane. im pretty sure you already found out but im giving you the answer just in case you still dont know
Ok.... There was a lady who was walking in the forest with her dog and was killed. If u r reading this, then u will find a dead bloody body hanging in ur closet. U will be haunted and killed by her. to stop it posti this to 6 other videos in 30 GOOD LUCK
I find it strange that Southwest Airlines has had only 2 accidents, of the same kind. Besides Flight 1248 overshooting the runway, flight 1455 from Las Vegas to Burbank, CA, over ran the runway too on March 5, 2000. How strange.
It crashed on December 8, 2005 at Chicago Midway International Airport. The pilot took too long to decide wether he should land or not. He made it on the runway (as you can see) but over ran it when he only had about 1000 feet to land while in the air. The plane skidded i think 70+ feet after landing while the nose gear tore off and smashed into four cars. The only fatality was a 6 year old boy.
You have not noticed the - more legroom -having flight attendants smile at you --all leather seats -you can check in up to 2 bags for freegiving discounted flights but has great service -no hidden fees -1st and 2nd luggage free -least complaints out of all other U.S. carriers - having most awards for being ontime You have not appreciated that -arriving to the destination on time or a few minutes early than other airlines - snacks, juices, water, sodas are free i cant believe you hate that
For all those idiots out there, this was recreated by the NTSB! Its not flight sim 2004. The use of thrust reversers was as it actually happened. The perameters were used from the Data flight recorder!! Dooh
He did use reverse thrust, but at the time of the incident, SWA forbid the use of autobrakes, and the rwy was icy, and that is why they slid off, not because of the reverse thrust.
Southwest hasn't have to train their pilots. It's the airline that many pilots want to fly for. They get the most experienced pilots as a result. I once heard of a captain who took a co-pilot's job to get on with Southwest.
i dont think it flew.
