  • i dont think it flew.

  • can someone pleaseeee tell me if this is FS2004? cuz these r the best graphics ive ever seen

  • so wtf happened?

  • Why are the buildings flat

  • graphics are terrible

  • LOL look what "HOT-1" says at 0:28

  • I C, well fortunatly this plane didn't reach the railroad track or this would be a real big disaster, because on the news I saw a railroad track in the backround of the crash site, if it reach the track and its on the track then the plane would be ran over by a freight train.

  • @sideslide23 The railroad tracks (Chicago Belt Railroad) are a lot further than they appeared on the video (actually a good 1/8th of a mile away) and there are structures in the way. The trains on the Belt Line aren't going anywhere in a hurry, so unlikely there would be a problem unless a train was on the track.

  • this was a real crash off a black box. the plane went into traffic and killed a 6 year old boy

  • next time hit control . to hit the parking brakes.

  • this was a real accident. this was put together with data from a black box. it killed a 6 year old boy.

  • what fs ?

  • its not an Flight simulator. its an animation from the black box of the plane. im pretty sure you already found out but im giving you the answer just in case you still dont know

  • Ok I didn't know

  • FS2004

  • @sideslide23 NO it is not FS2004

  • @QF4976 it looks like it matter fact I have that plane on my FS2004 files.

  • get your crap off youtube.

  • I find it strange that Southwest Airlines has had only 2 accidents, of the same kind. Besides Flight 1248 overshooting the runway, flight 1455 from Las Vegas to Burbank, CA, over ran the runway too on March 5, 2000. How strange.

  • can you give me some details and facts about the crash?

  • It crashed on December 8, 2005 at Chicago Midway International Airport. The pilot took too long to decide wether he should land or not. He made it on the runway (as you can see) but over ran it when he only had about 1000 feet to land while in the air. The plane skidded i think 70+ feet after landing while the nose gear tore off and smashed into four cars. The only fatality was a 6 year old boy.

  • im flying southest tomorrow

  • This is not any FS you scrubs.

  • this is not fs2004

  • microsoft flight simulator 2004

  • Its from the blackbox video released by the NTSB or the FAA

  • was this the information from the FDR?

  • ok.. that was not correct at all

  • how do you get the paint

  • im flying southwest today and wouldn't reccomend it, but i flew it once before and it's a good airline

  • You have not noticed the - more legroom -having flight attendants smile at you --all leather seats -you can check in up to 2 bags for freegiving discounted flights but has great service -no hidden fees -1st and 2nd luggage free -least complaints out of all other U.S. carriers - having most awards for being ontime You have not appreciated that -arriving to the destination on time or a few minutes early than other airlines - snacks, juices, water, sodas are free i cant believe you hate that
  • its a very friendly airline!! and their hospitality couldnt be better.

  • my favret airline is southwest beacause the flight attedants are funny and it is a good airline but dont pick untedok.

  • well i mean they can at least have a projector

  • what is the name of the flight simulator

  • Its from the blackbox video released by the NTSB or the FAA

  • The brakes were shut off at the mid of the runway. Was this normal?

  • For all those idiots out there, this was recreated by the NTSB! Its not flight sim 2004. The use of thrust reversers was as it actually happened. The perameters were used from the Data flight recorder!! Dooh

  • Some people are muy stupido or just plain ignorant..

  • lol

  • flight simulater x is fun you can download planes for free and thats how i got southwest airlines on flight simulater x.

  • is this flight sim

  • this is NTSB used simulation of accident that rreally happened. they always use thiese kind of simulations for every accident

  • wow, ur retarded. this is an NTSB reenactment of the Southwest jet that overran the runway in MDW a few years ago.

  • wat no explosions

  • awesome how do u doooooo this

  • He did use reverse thrust, but at the time of the incident, SWA forbid the use of autobrakes, and the rwy was icy, and that is why they slid off, not because of the reverse thrust.

  • dude dont you know your sopposed to use reverse thrust once you touch down

  • No, Southwest saves money by not wasting time training its pilots about the reverse thrust.

    *End sarcasm*

  • wow, your cool

    *End sarcasm*

  • Southwest hasn't have to train their pilots. It's the airline that many pilots want to fly for. They get the most experienced pilots as a result. I once heard of a captain who took a co-pilot's job to get on with Southwest.

  • i want to fly for them after my flight training. they are the best

  • aww nahhh know one knows!

  • the pilot does not use thrust reverse until the end of the runway, no wonder they could not stop.

  • this was the flt that went thru fence at MDW airport in chicago...very unfortunate event

  • it is on you tube if you just put southwest airlines crash at night.

  • Thats not FS2004...Its a FAA Recreation Animation

  • It doesn't look like Flight Simulator 2004, cuz I have the game and mine looks more realistic.

  • so do i

  • awesome

  • what game is that?

  • fs2004
