  • Its the head.the valve is bent its going to cost about 150 to get it reapaired

  • is it a big difference when you druive with only 3 cylinder ?

  • Shit, my Honda Accord 1990 does the same shit. I already checked the battery, gas, and distributor and all of that is ok. What else could it be? Some one told me that the problem was the heads, gas pump or the gas filter. What do you think?

  • I have one of these with two blown head gaskets, and two cylinders firing and every cylinder running on half the compression...

It still "runs" technically speaking. I mean, if you had to go outside and get somewhere in it, it would work.

I gave up on it though. I have a 1989 Nissan Pulsar. It's a much better car to me and it doesn't have the steering radius of a battle ship like the Honda does.

  • I just replaced 2 bent exhaust valves on a 90 Honda Accord. Runs like a sewing machine now. Was running just like yours. Timing belt stretches after only 50,000 miles on these cars. Good luck. Pretty good little job.

  • the rotor is good if u have spark, i think that ur injectr is bad or disconectd

  • Doesnt matter as long as you dont crank it all day. Unburned fuel goes into the cat and will cause damage if it ignites

  • spare plug, would be my guess, especially if the wire is sparking..

  • How many miles do you have on it?

  • Was running on three cylinders.

  • i think you have a bad spark plug or a bad rotor or cap.
