There is a difference between advocacy and racism. Racism is about hate and superiority. Advocacy is about pride and self-interest. Non-white racism is always viewed as advocacy and white advocacy is always viewed as racism. We must defend and promote our civilization, culture and heritage. Anything less is a betrayal of the legacy our ancestors built and left to us. If others have are "offended" by that, THEY have the problem.

No, I'm American and Mexican. I have my heart open to both homes. Here I have my friends. There I have my family. My friends range from Mexican to Indian to Asian to Black. But I don't see them for the color of their skin, but I'm not colorblind either. I love them for their character and also for enriching and diversifying our culture.

Well, when you take words out of context they can mean anything. He obviously meant that as Mexicans out of Mexico, they should be respected for the contributions we make to both our economies. His message is correct. And the reporter obviously did not understand the language used by the President.

Spoken as if US had no problems whatsoever. Corruption? You probably are not even aware of the corruption in the US yourself. What you fail to see is that the exact same thing that happened with the Irish back in the 1800's (them immigrating by the thousands to America) is happening now again, only it's Mexicans instead of Irish. Now go look into US history and tell me how many US presidents are of Irish descent? How are irish-americans regarded now? All will change as it did back then.
