  • They'll lose money if it's more expensive. I mean the lunch supervisor, if she saves money, it's a bonus for her. More work to prepare fresh food. The excuses go on and on.

  • That lady needs a slap! They all do.

  • In high-school I always brought lunch from home. A nickel bag of pot, a bottle of vodka, and breath mints. XD

  • No wonder why those oldbags look fuckin old, ugly cows, birdbrain!!! They dont want any changes to their diet n dont give a shit to young people.

  • That is why I pack a lunch, so I don't have to eat pre-cooked shit like that.

  • wtf is wrong with those women?

  • everyone where ever they live or are from should always remember that we need food for living but we dont live for eating. many dont have even needed amount of food to stay alive. food should nurture us not harm us.

  • Pizza is a vegetable Jamie, you know nothing of food.

  • jamie give it up, america is too fucked up.

  • @cocojumb0

Ay yi yi, Coco Jumbo, Ay Yi Ya

  • I like this English guy, I think he's doing a great job and as he points out, there are crappy food in England.

  • 4 in here are the 4 moms of the video

  • @gilvilla010 all the fours: this comment was posted four days ago and it's still 4 dislikes

  • Jamie let the Fat Bastards DIE

  • wth is whatever sulfate?

  • West Virginia is a reprehensible state.

  • @FGN123 (1/2)And it's people like you that make it so defensive. West Virginia is a wonderful state filled with incredibly warm, kind people. It's also a very poor state with a lot of poverty and it works hard to over the come the image that it has with the rest of the country. When even the most politically correct people see nothing wrong with mocking and insulting the place where you live and the place that's become a part of who you are, you get very defensive of that place.

  • @FGN123 (2/3) I'm not surprised people weren't open to Jamie, a life time of being treated like an uneducated hick any time I leave the state or meet someone from out of state has made me wary about things like this. When they heard he was coming to "the fattest city in America" to help them clean up their diet they probably thought the same thing I thought, "Oh joy, someone else who's coming here to insult us and treat us like a bunch of inbred hillbillies."

  • @FGN123 (3/3) Believe it or not, most West Virginians love WV, and they're proud of it. To constantly have it shamed, made the butt of so many jokes, and to be treated like those jokes are true makes a people guarded. Had you said WV is IN a reprehensible state I would have agreed. It is. That's why I completely support what Jamie is trying to do. I think he started in the wrong place though. He should have saved Huntington for midseason and gone in with less fan fare.

  • @dachicagoan I was kind of hoping he would have done some research on the area before he went there. On it's history, culture, people, economic situation. I also think the people working with him on this could have pointed it out, but they probably saw an opportunity for great TV and ran with it.. It's also a good examples of why it's not a great idea to have a foreigner come in and try to reform a place without having spent any significant time there before hand.

  • @00Petulia00 He doesn't need to spend time here to know that "sodium benzoate, zinc oxide, ferrous sulfate, copper gluconate" and many other things don't need to be in food that children (or adults for that matter) are consuming. You stated you live in WV, the fattest state in the Union. You're the first person who should be worried about what kids are eating, but instead you criticize "foreigners" coming into the state and trying to change things for the better because.. why?

  • @ShitMyCatsOnFire I'm not criticizing him for wanting to help. I just think he should have bothered to learn something about the area before he went there. That probably would have been a much better approach. You can't help people make an effective change if you don't know anything about them or understand the circumstances of their situation.

If you read further back you would have noticed I said I like that he's trying to help, I just think he kind of messed up by starting in WV, especially

  • @ShitMyCatsOnFire (cont.) with the kind of treatment WV is used to getting from the media. Going in saying you are going to fix the fattest city in America is NOT how you go about winning defensive people to your side. He should have started in another city, like LA, or NYC, then worked his way to WV and come in with less fan fare.

Also, I am worried. My school has tried several times to get healthier lunches, but the woman in charge of choosing the food and menu is a massive bitch.

  • @ShitMyCatsOnFire (cont. 3/3) She refuses to improve the lunches even though we, unlike Huntington, have the money to do it. Of course she has raised the prices of school lunches though. The most we've been able to get is a healthier option of salad, sandwiches and fruit sides, most of which are of terrible quality and usually stale. She also wasted a massive amount of money on finger scanners to replace lunch cards for reasons no one understands.

  • Pizza for breakfast. :/

  • Jamie thinks he is cooking healthy just because he uses vegetables.

  • @bohemiangrove No, Jamie cooks healthy because he doesn't use chemicals in his food.

  • @DehE1337 ok

  • Unfortunatly what Jamie does not realise is that processed food is cheaper than organic food and some people can't afford the healthier food.

  • @bloodmercs you can still get groceries that aren't labelled as "organic". Even Jamie said himself, even just getting food and cooking it yourself is way better than eating processed food. Regular groceries is not expensive

  • At my school there processed food like that but then we also order cold cut subs from a resteraunt so I eat the subs instead of the shaped meat

  • Oh my gosh im american... these lunch ladies better listen to him... ive had pizza for breakfast my school

  • typical american passing the buck and defending status qou

  • @ccm800 It's expected for women in charge of giving food to children to become defensive when a camera crew and a chef on a crusade parachute in to set things straight and show them up. It's also natural for some people to defend what they do, no matter what it is. When unhealthy food is all people see, they don't see it as unhealthy anymore, it's just food. These women exist within a public chain of command and powerless people don't accept responsibility.

  • Having said that, they could have taken on a more accepting stance, and took it as an opportunity to learn some new things about food in a spirit of making children more healthy. Both sides created a negative atmosphere and I hope things turned out ok in the end.

  • Why those people/those ladies here in that case are being such IGNORANTS ?????!!!!!!!! Getting some knowledge and AWERNESS doesn't costs fucking brain surgery!!!! You are not a 5 year old child anymore - you are fucking adult! do ur besic homework jerk....

  • when i want pizza, buy stuff from store and make it my self. i dont order pizza. in europe if you dont know how to do your own food you are considerd retard.

  • @gethsoftware

well, thats just not true lol.

  • Schools are forced to feed this garbage to kids by higer ups

  • The problem, to begin with, is the fact that these ladies don't really give a rat's ass about what they are preparing. If it were to mean an extra 3 min of work, they don't wanna hear a word of it. Anyone, that can stare at facts & cold faced say, "What's wrong with that?" when there are glaring problems staring them in the face, is absolutely hell bent on going on with their life, the way they always have, without any regard of the consequences.

  • @1Bonehed The problem is these ladies have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL over what they prepare for lunch and no power to change it. All of that is done by the county and school district. They have a person in charge of planning the menu, buying the food, and all that. My school, in WV, tried to improve our menu because the food was less healthy than most fast food. We petitioned, argued, and begged, he woman in charge, a monstrous bitch named Beverly, wouldn't budge an inch on the matter.

  • @00Petulia00 That sounds about right.

  • There's a whole lot of chemicals in that food. Stupid Ladies! I'll bet they never took Chem in High School .. and look at the size of them. They'll be sorry.

  • What frustrates me the most out of this video is them ladies... they.. just don't get it.. that isn't food at all... but is hard to make them understand when they've eaten that kind of "food" all over their lives. when you try the real thing that's when you understand the difference..hope thath happens to them some day

  • I think I saw copper gluconate or something. oh god what is it and why is it in my nugget.

  • these luch ladies are completely oblivious.. to everything.

  • @Sk8onURown It's a minimum wage job to them. A good job. What do they care? they've been brainwashed, just like everyone else in America, that a job is so important. If they want to feed people, why not strike out on your own and start a business? Jobs pay just enough to keep you enslaved--no more.

  • I watching this video stuffing my face with a nice 10 piece box of Mcdonald's chicken nuggies and there's not a bloody thing you can do about it you fat bovine looking mother fucker!

  • @harveyderf Hush now, you might make this doughy, fat tongued broccoli farter cry.... Tears contain lots of sodium, which is killing our nation and unraveling the very fibers of society... Mmmmm, salt.... Nom nom nom.........

  • Mmmmm... This made me wanna run out and pick up some chicken nuggies.... Nom nom nom......

  • The woman with the glasses has a point: this is a policy issue that needs to be taken up with the school board. After all, what can the lunch ladies do? Toss out the processed food and buy real food instead?

  • That lady is idiot red neck white trash. As soon as she heard his accent, she made up her mind to disagree with everything he said.

  • "You don't have processed food in England?' "God yes, and it's killing them too"

  • @europachef Yet they still know what fresh meat is. I lived there some time and still u can find fresh ingredients although they are truly expensive. I saw people is growing fat, the situation is bad and goes for worse.... but the problem hasn´t gotten any closer yet to the dimensions it has reached in US. people in England is fat, but people in The United States is REALLY fat

  • You have to watch the full season because the bitchy lunchlady actually comes around at the end of the season and embraces cooking meals from scratch for the kids. You start out hating her, but she makes a transformation.

  • listen, american kids struggle with basic shit...when did they stop teaching calculus in middle school...kids need to eat whatever..what good are healthy kids if they can integrate ln(x)dx in their heads?

  • @kappelmeister123 It started with not eating healthy foods!

  • @ArrcanarStudios this! it's sad people dont realize how closely the health of the body and the health of the mind are related.

it's proven that people who arnt healthy dont retain information as well.

  • @ArtificialCornstarch i dont know what this comment is towards. the video or my comment? Be more specific.

  • @ArtificialCornstarch It's proven based on statistics gained from testing a small minority, don't be a fool...

There is a great chef saying that many stick by with their food, "There is no such thing as unhealthy food, it is the person eating the food that is unhealthy" Basically the food is not making people unhealthy it is their eating habbits that are, all food is good for us, we just eat too much of it and don't do enough daily activities.

  • @juggy2006 you're right, i'll just eat lard then, but it's ok, because i'll only have a little bit.

  • @OOOuise Although it lacks in nutrition, eating a little bit of lard won't harm you, you would burn that "little bit" off just by sleeping. As i said, it's about everyones eating habbits and lack of activities, i have an active life style and yet i consume 3,000 cals per day (at least), and i still don't gain weight.

Where as if i were to consume 3,000 cals per day without the activities that i do daily, i would gain weight rapidly. These "fat" people are eating 3,000+ cals daily.

  • @juggy2006 fair enough

still, no reason not to stop the fast food industry, 'we can all avoid temptation unless we can't resist it,' as they say.

  • hell. i am just normal young single and i can make meat and potato filled dish everyday, in about half hour. it is easy and cheaper then ordering mcdonalds.

  • Here in the Netherlands, children bring their own lunches from home. Usually simple sandwiches. No fat pizza or other snacks. In the US and the UK children could easily have a breakfast or a lunch at school. Where they prepare their own sandwhiches. It will bring so much rest to the children and it's so much healthier.

  • @Leviwosc Ik betwijfel dat dit over heel Nederland zo is... (alsook in België)

  • @Leviwosc I used to always bring my own lunch to school, and i live in the UK. And yes it was always small sandwiches and maybe a couple of treats with a drink.

  • @juggy2006: Well I guess that's much healthier! So good that you brought your own lunch. Don't you think it would be better for the children now? It will force these children to get more rhythm in their lives as well. They have to get up on time in order to wash themselves, have breakfast, prepare their lunch for the afternoon and pack it in small plastic bags, brush their teeth and put on their school uniforms. "With a healthy rhythm every day, you keep the doctor away."

  • ITs so hard to get them ppl to stop eating they r beasts and we r beautys if they listen to Jamie Oliver food revolution they will be beautys (rate up if u agree :), rate down if u a beast :( )

  • Who the heck give kids pizza for breakfast???? That woman was so ridiculous to feel defensive about it...

  • ground beef, first ingredient... alongside 50 more that do not belong in there... should make you suspicious if your not a total nutjob.

  • Why doesn't anyone call our little ones children anymore, I'm sick of people calling them kids, since when are they young goats?

  • @kidsarocker Since they started eating any old shit LIKE goats.

  • @kidsarocker it's just another way to dehumanize our fellow man so we can easily kill them for our leaders.

    also, nice name kid :P

  • @kidsarocker Like that is the issue here. Kids, bubs. younguns, brats, dustbin lids, rug rats, spratts, ankle biters, fucking annoying spawn of idiots like you. Whatever...they are being fed processed shit. That is the point here. And yes most people in the world call their kids, kids and have done for as long as I can remember.

  • @kidsarocker You even have "kids" in your username. How ironic.

  • @kidsarocker i fnd it ironic how your name includes the word kid init lol :)

  • Right, have a go at the cafeteria ladies who don't have any power to change the menu. Teach the parents and kids it's the cafeteria ladies who're serving this stuff the ones to blame, not the ones who send them the food in the first place. Of course they get defensive, they care about the kids as much as the next woman or mother but they need this job to support themselves and their family.

  • How can you not be outraged about that? Since I started to buy real food I can't even eat pre proccessed chicken kerry or like a curry with a bag of dried herbs you just ad some water with. Sometimes it is actually a lot cheaper to just eat fresh food form a local store, not a supermarket. Suriname chicken, 4 chicken legs, 3 stalks of lemon grass, Madam Janet and a piece of Laos, 6 euro and that was a fucking amazing meal for 4 persons and 10000X better then anything from a package.

  • Good foods are prepared in uncomplicated ways with all natural ingredients. All those weird names in the ingredient list are just code names made up so people won't understand what they are actually putting into their mouths.

  • @MrQuagmire26 iknow! here in england they put duck feathers in bread! and they replaced it with sum load of numbers

  • It's all about the money. Cheap shit.

  • What's sick is that I just had that exact same meat at 1:30 for lunch yesterday. Now I'm looking at the the ingredients and I'm horrified.

  • this is too hard to watch. the level of retardation is above and beyond....

  • This was a real eye opener. I am never eating school food ever again.

  • what a lovely dinner lady... fucking cunt thinks children should eat chlorinated meat, ground bone, skin, fat, intestine, because it's classified as "ground beef"... god, if these idiots would spend an hour investigating what their own capitalism is doing to them, they MIGHT be salvageable... but they're too arrogant to do so.

let 'em die in their own fat, who cares. just keep their shit out of europe, thanks. dont need their processed garbage.

  • gotta love america... the worlds biggest freakshow.

  • wow those lunch ladies are very ignorant!

  • Comment removed

  • americans are so fucking FFFAATTTT hehehe... binladen only eats pita butdroped thier tallest building... way to go jamie oliver for the effort... dont dumb these dumb american they'll die earlier anyway buwahahaha....

  • @tondhe you honestly think that all americans are like this? heres a shocker for you! O.o just because a few lunch ladies think this. thats what all americans think?ha! im skinny and i live in america so before you go crizising americans you should get the facts right, and besides. this is reality tv. basicly its peope acting like they arent acting, so get a life. and may i state that i have NOTHING against british. i am actualy obsesed with the accent and i have alot of friends that are british

  • @sparkleypinkglitterz your an american??? check ur words what's crizising???? hehehe IDIOT hehehe ur an american wannebe...

  • They never used to eat this shit in the past, why now ?

  • is it me or do I.... READ SALT TWICE TWICE!!!!!!

  • mmmmm...copper gluconate!

    yum!

  • Jamie is a bit of a dick.

  • @ArtypNk

    No, Americans are too ignorant.

  • 1:30 well what is wrong with that?! JO is a obessed vegatarian (nothing against vegetarians-hippie he needs 2 chill fast food is great as long you dont eat it like a pig all the time and besides life isnt enjoyable eating all the time green stuff...your not gonna die as long you dont eat tons of it!

  • @SpenkCartoons but the problem is we eat it too often.

  • @SpenkCartoons hes not a vegatarian at all, he slaughtered a fully a fully conscious lamb on his TV show before

  • @SpenkCartoons But look whats in the fast food. This is why I don't eat mcdonalds ever sience I bit into a nugget and found something green and chewy.

  • Miss! That's a cup of my uri-

    WATER, First ingredient!

Do you not question anything else in that cup?

    What's wrong with that?

  • mmMMMM girls get stinky pussy by eating that process shit

  • YUMMY

  • The food program at a school is a FEDERAL PROGRAM!!!! All of this food is GOVERNMENT FOOD!!!! They are NOT ALLOWED to serve anything else! It is all government mandated, what is bought, how much is paid for it etc.. It is a very corrupt system the purpose of which is to enrich the food producers who pay the politicians who control the bureaucrats.

  • ignorance is certainly not bliss

  • Where did these cooks come from anyway? Did a prison lay off workers?

  • There was someone on another site where they posted a picture of meat slurry and mechanically seperated meat and told people how the animals are raised and treated, how the food is processed, how the meat is washed amonia, full of bleached sugar, additives... and people simply did not care. 200 or so comments and MOST of them of moms saying they would eat and serve it to their kids. This is a problem in America!!! The attitude is widespread.

  • What did he expect the workers to do? Quit their jobs?

"You are absolutely right! You flew here from the magic land of England with your higher education degree, and showed us minimum wage peasants that we are not serving god-blessed good, we will all quit right now unanimously, thank you so much prince savior"...get real

  • @thepineapple1

He just wanted to educate them about the truth of their jobs. He wanted support and a positive attitude from the people he was working directly with. Obviously higher ups allowed him into the school to make the changes. Yet, it is these people with the closed minds.

  • @thepineapple1 He wanted them to care about the shit they are serving to their kids. Cooking healthier will only do good, there are no bad side effects or magic involved. These women just didn't give a shit - "there's nothing wrong with that".

  • @thepineapple1

The ugly american rears his head.

  • @sneeptheelite You have to be a complete and utter idiot to not recognize that the school food program is a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT program! It is BIG GOVERNMENT. IT is SOCIALISM! It is just too rich that a European socialist comes here and the big fault he finds with America is not the free market but the socialist aspects of the country. YOu are too stupid to not notice the contradiction in your criticism.

  • @ahksehlgato

You make a lot of assumptions which are all wrong. Dumb fuck. I'm not European. You yankees are pathetic, you don't know shit about politics or how the world works, all you know is the buzzwords you hear on TV. Do you even know what socialism is? Of course you don't. Socialism is an economic theory that stresses that the means of production must come into the hands of the workers rather then the capitalist class. Nothing to do with school lunches you fuckknuckle.

  • @sneeptheelite So you are not a European, so what. The school lunch program is a FEDERAL program, so you are the dumb fuck. It is a government food program, that means it is a socialist program, you dumb fuck. What's it like being so stupid yet so desperate to try to claim others are stupid because they can understand what you cant?

  • @ahksehlgato

Just because it's a government program doesn't mean its socialist you dumbshit. The army is paid for 100% by the government-is the army socialist? Roads are paid for by the government-are roads socialist? You conservatives don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

  • @sneeptheelite Well here you truly show your ignorance. A state run program is socialist you dumb shit. There is no doubt about this. State run health care is SOCIALISM. A state run food program is SOCIALISM, food stamps are SOCIALISM, welfare is SOCIALISM. The Armed forces are provided for in the constitution you idiot. It is a government entity but it does not have an economic function. Food service, health care, auto factories, all operate for economic reasons.

  • @ahksehlgato

    The definition of socialism;

Socialism is an economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources.[1][2][3]

As an economic system, socialism is a system of production based on the direct production of use-values by allocating economic inputs (the means of production) and investments through planning to directly satisfy economic demand.

  • @ahksehlgato

Does that sound anything like the bullshit you just pulled out of your ass? Admit it, you don't have a clue what socialism means. You never did. I don't know why I'm bothering, you probably didn't understand a single word in that definition. Fuckin redneck.

  • @sneeptheelite No it is you that does not know what socialism means. You have nothing, no understanding and no knowledge. all you can do is try to talk tough, your just a silly nothing that thinks rough language will hide that, but it doesn't. You have shown utter and complete ignorance and a complete inability to grasp even the simplest truths. You are a waste of time, go annoy someone else.

  • @ahksehlgato

Haha don't like the truth do you? I show you what is literally a text-book definition of socalism-but apparently you know better. Oh well. I knew it wouldn't sink through your thick skull, but it was worth a try.

  • @sneeptheelite Yes , that is the thing, you can read a definition but not understand what it means. Government food program-common ownership, cooperative management of means of production and allocation-government bureaucracy, government farm subsidies, government food stores, government regulations, government nutrition charts. You are a thick as a board and hopeless, good bye

  • @ahksehlgato

no, no, no. Every government in history has run public works programs. Thats does not make them socialist. You don't know shit, you'd never even considered what socialism actually meant, just admit it.

  • @sneeptheelite i think these cooks were in that film Deliverance.

  • @sneeptheelite God you yanks are brain washed. This problem is a direct result of a company tendering for the gov contract, this separate company has most likely paid the right people to secure the contract and also be allowed to drop the standard of their food to ensure maximum profits, sounds more Like a capitalist arrangement to me. If I was American I would be researching who these companies are,who awarded them the contract and which poli allowed it to happen.

  • @riceburnagtv

    ok

Pretty sure that comment was not supposed to be directed at me.

  • @sneeptheelite Sorry bud I meant to direct that at the Dick you have been debating.

  • @sneeptheelite A town can operate it's school lunch program without federal dollars and operate completely independently from any federal guidelines, menus, or nutrition tables. When they accept federal money-as they all do-they are bound by those guidelines-which also dictate who supplies the food. Here you have a totally centralized operation. The taxpayers pay taxes for the bureaucrats to spend and the taxpayers get back crap for their money-SOCIALISM YOU DUMB FUCK!

  • @ahksehlgato

Your argument is incomprehensible. You don't know anything, in a perfect world you would not be permitted to pass on your inferior genes.

  • chicken.. first ingredient????

    should be the ONLY ingredient!

  • Ground beef and chicken brest first ingrediants!!! errrrrrr yeah but plus the 409 extra things that are not needed!!!!!!!! dumbass

  • ... They just tick all the government boxes as easily as they can and get paid. Just like an emotionless robot. No care, no consideration and no thoughts of their own.

  • It's just how America is now. Heads down, just do your job. Don't question anything the government does. If those cooks had any thoughts of their own, they should be thinking, "Hold on. I don't have pizza for breakfast so why are we feeding the kids pizza?" If all of them refused to serve it, just cereal instead, maybe the higher powers would listen to them. They don't give a shit about their job, there's no passion they express about feeding these kids.

  • Oh my god what a bunch of ignorant plebs these dinner ladys are.

  • @GuysSeriously As the other guy said above - he did this a few years ago in Britain already...

  • @Spike00513z Don't you mean, "Well fuck you lunch ladies, thanks"? I'm American, and I don't agree with the food that's being served to the kids. Pizza for breakfast?! That's sheer lunacy! Whatever happened to the old fashioned breakfasts like pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, or even cereal? Those lunch ladies have their heads up their asses thinking that it's okay to give the kids pizza for breakfast, or serve processed foods for lunch. They should be eating REAL food, not that junk. :p

  • When he held up the "chicken" I thought it was a cracker at first.

Something is definitley wrong if the food doesn't even look like what it's supposed to be!

  • By getting defensive people are being selfish - putting their pride ahead of their kids health... Its got nothing to do with criticising the US as a country - it is quite brave of Jamie Oliver to go preach this to America. Realistically, the chances are if the US can make a difference, the rest of the world will most likely follow

  • @justin9785 'the chances are if the US can make a difference, the rest of the world will most likely follow'

What an IGNORANT comment!! The rest of the world doesn't NEED to follow! The UK has already had this and the rest of the world eats mostly healthy food anyways! Get your head out of your arse...America has the problem which is why Jamie went there - you didn't see him going to France or Germany did you? No because they mostly have a healthy attitude to food!

  • @justin9785 The rest of the world is already ahead. Jamie has already done exactly this kind of thing in Britain with "Jamie's School Dinners" 5 years ago (in which he didn't get anything like the open antagonism displayed in this video) and "Ministry of Food" 2 years ago. Meanwhile, this kind of thing wouldn't even be necessary in, say, France, Germany or Italy, where the food is one of the best reasons for visiting there!

  • @GuysSeriously He did the exact same thing in England. Check it out.

  • Unfortunately, Jamie has turned this into a kind of emotional, Jerry Springeresque confrontational event. It turns my stomach because it looks like his producers are exploiting everyone, including Jamie, in order to create 'drama' and increase his ratings. The atmosphere reminds me of 'Chopped'. I think it's evil to create this kind of negative atmosphere around something as sacred as food. Shame on you all...

  • @goodboybuddy1 Shame on who exactly?

  • @Rachiejane1 Gee, I guess I mean whoever sets these programs up in a way that makes them exploitative and confrontational. I mean, the poor lunch ladies are just doing their job. And gosh, I mean the persons who reap huge financial rewards from this kind of programing.

  • @goodboybuddy1 Well 'gee whizz' - no need to set these programmes up to be exploitative - the idiots exploit themselves and the 'poor lunch ladies' are rude and defensive and serve the children pizza for breakfast! And so what if there are huge financial rewards for people who do the programming - why begrudge people profit? At least these people are also highlighting this stupidity and advocating healthy food as well as making a lot of money, unlike companies like McDonalds and Burger King...

  • those lunch ladies need to get the carrots out of their arses and into the childrens mouths ;)

  • I'd like to slap him!

  • @Wabeberu you are fat aren't you?

  • "mOwntHly NutriTion Uhnaleesis --" oh really now?

  • OMG jamie...what are you doing in that FAT DUMB place? all the fat crap they been consuming has gone straight to their brains. obviously they dont appreciate your kind heart and your honesty. let those dumb FAT ARSES drown in their drown in their own krap. get out of there as fast as you can. they dont deserve your kindness.

  • I feel sorry for Jamie... these people are so ignorant and cold to him when they are the ones destroying the children's health. geez .. i hate those ladies. it doesn't take a genius to figure out that what their eating is processed crap and not healthy food.... I mean dont they know what healthy food is?

  • @lenamuopc All the "lunch ladies" care about, as is obvious from watching the whole first programme of the series, is complying with the school board nutrition regulations, which are quite frankly bonkers. For example, every meal has to have two "bread items" in it, which means that spaghetti bolognese with a roll is OK, but spag bol on its own isn't. Mad. And then you see on the programme that most of the kids don't eat the bread anyway, so what is the point?

  • @65renaissanceman yeah... really stuffed up system

  • haha Jamie is such a legend. What the hell is he doing going over there wasting his time trying to educate morons? If they can't even read an ingredients label they're beyond help.

  • look, we have a lot of junk food and processed food to get rid of in north america and it's not good if the older working class is eating it because they'll die more easily. so it makes sense to get the kids to eat as much as possible and then later on in life they can buy the newly released medication to treat the conditions they may have contracted from the diet. all this healthy nonsense isn't gonna generate money people.
