i have a question - with the sedu dryer.. i hear that no defuser fits on it. the one sedu makes is bad quality and its 20 dollars more. so i'd be stuck. any advice? have you found any defusers that fit on it?
I've been considering buying an all nylon paddle brush for detangling like the mason pearson all nylon detangler, just a knock off version. You said you don't use nylon anymore, did it damage/ pull too much at your hair? I know boar bristle does that to me but I have never used nylon so I have no reference point...
If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.
Thank you so much for all of your tips and information! I have been natural for 4 years, and had no idea how or what to do with my hair. I've just been keeping it braided or covered with partial wigs. I looked at the video you had also about the conditioning and co-washing, and I'm definitely going to try it. I haven't been taking care of my hair AT ALL !! Now thanks to you, I know most of what I've been doing wrong!!! Thank you so so muc!!!
Thanx for taking the time to share....I have one question...I wear a waterproof eye liner and it always smear...it there something I need to use in order for this not to happen?
Your hair looks suuuuuuuuuper healthy. I am soooo lazy, Dezi, it's a shame. I normally just braid my hair back and cover it with various wraps. I just don't know what to do with my natural hair. It seems so difficult to maintain. Thanks for sharing and GOD bless!
I have went now 10 weeks with out a perm, and i am really trying to go back natural. so i need some advice from you. what should i use on my hair while i am transforming from perm to natural? i so have some good lenght to my hair. but whild going through i need some help please..

one question, can or did you try curling your hair with that flat iron?
im looking for one that can do both curling and straightening, and im just asking cuz the red area looks like it can tangle your hair.

Do you only use your blow dryer for drying hair or do you blow it out before ironing? Nice video, thanks!

Have you tried Mizani Thermasmooth or Janelle's Divasmooth system. Both are nonchemical protectant straightening systems.
