I would start throwing 15lbs as soon as possible cuz it will save you money in the long run. establish that consistency between the weight and the brand and you will see your avg improve fairly quick. best of wishes to you with your bowling. My avg is abt 160 and im carrying 13 lbs balls. i got a maxim which is 14 lbs and my friend gave it to me. now, i am in search of a ball that will handle well on medium to oily lane conditions. should i get a radical inferno, scorching inferno, comfort zone or a gravity shift? or the new black widow venom? I recommend staying with the same brand. Before i found storm i threw an ebonite tiger and a scorchin inferno. neither ball seemed as consistent as they should. I started throwing storm and things have been great ever since. my avg went from 170 to 217 in two years. I have a gravity and love it.
thx for your help man. so what ball do you think i should get for now? i play a lot on backend and its pretty sharp. i usually play on the outside lines but i want a ball which is versatile so it can play well inside.
Storm is #1. Rapid Fire Pearl is a great ball. Great reaction down lane it hard.

actully i just got the jigsaw corner and its great and i threw the doom raw hammer its really good but i would most likely say ebonite is the best
