@SuperMetalhead16 Commandment of Review and Opinion I: Thou shall not compare to praise or to hurt.
You're one of those fags who takes the original over everything. So you're saying the asswipe Legacy of Goku is better than Legacy of Goku II, the more well planned out and produced game.
Rare chose some great songs to re-use. This is one of my favorite video game songs. Both versions do great on my favorite part of the song: 0:15 and 1:15.
OMG!!! After playing Blast Corps and checking some music from DKL on Youtube, I noticed the similarities, too! (Then again after playing or hearing both games who wouldn't?) Since both games are made by Nintendo/Rare (please correct me if I'm wrong), I wasn't at all disappointed. Both tracks sound great in their unique way in my opinion so I don't really what I prefer most. Thanks for uploading this comparsion, though. It's nice to know others reveal simple similarites such as this.
The reason they sound the same is because Graeme Norgate wrote them both. It was one song which Rare played for Shygiriu Myamotto, and he said "M'kay- Add it to 'the bin™'". Why it was used in 2 different games? I dunno. Sounds to me like it was an oversight. You know how those artist guys are; needing a song in a hurry and going back over stuff written years ago...
God, it would be epic if Blast Corps got the remake treatment like Perfect Dark, with new levels and online multiplayer. Imagine taking down entire cities with your friends!
I freaked out when i had put 2 and 2 together. I was like "I have heard this song a long time ago..." and never put it to my old gameboy game. Then suddenly oneday i noticed the similarity. Freaked me out.
game boy sounds better for me. there's just something about it that sounds more threatening than the blast corps one, which i like.

Chiptune / 8-Bit VS. High-quality / Metal
Eventhough Sherries isn't Metal nor Rock, usually Metal and Rock are what most gamers often love listening to.

@ RawkHawk2010 i'm assuming you already know these two games were made from the same company and that's why both themes sound the same

O_o awesome find!

Same tune all right. Blast Corps one is remixed a little; when I first played it, I recognized the DKL tune right away, and was pleased. :D

I just noticed this today when listening to DKL's boss theme for the first time, I was like "I know I recognize this from somewhere".
Took me a little while to track down the other game as Blast Corps.

The composer just changed a couple notes to make it sound in a major key and at times he used a blue note. DKL one is waaaaay better

"Just" and "Just". I think he made a major remix of it. Easter Eggs in their best forms! :D

the Blast corps version is more funky and in my opinion a bit overloaded, too much stuff and other things going on there..
so i prefer the Donkey Kong Land one, and if they would remix that song for the next Super Smash Bros... THAT WOULD BE UBER-AWESOME. :D
