  • ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS EVERRRR!!! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS.

  • everyone just read the pochahontas documentary or the movie with colin farrell "the new world" movie. they met, fell in love but he "vanished" so she married rolfe instead and had kids with him but journey to england she got sick and died.

  • "No, I'm not letting you leave!"

    *jumps into a tree*

    Pocahontas Trolled John Smith.

  • The english version is ugly

  • my sacrgagafafacie

  • wonderful song :')

  • I know alot of native americans where I live and I wish they were all as nice or respectfull like she is in this movie.

  • Maybe they're kinda pissed off about the whole stealing land thing?

  • wtf? Does he just leaves her at the end? I don't really remember the story so I can't tell, but if he does then that's fked up!! He should stay with her, or her with him! Was it just an afair?

  • @animeworldchick He was shot...He wouldn't have survived

  • @scuuuuuusa oh I c.. but still he never went back?? :S How did the story end?

  • @animeworldchick There is the second part to the movie but it's really shity. In the second part she goes to civilisation to prove that she is not a savage. She falls for another guy and yeahh I don't really remember how it ends but I think they should not have made the second part :D it kind of ruined everything. You should watch them yourself ;)

  • @scuuuuuusa oh yeah! I remember there was a second movie now but i don't remember much of both so I'd like to see them again

  • Sacrifice... you cant even spell the name of the song correctly? really?

  • AM I ALLOWED TO LOVE THIS WITH A PASSION?!

My all time favorite Disney movie with an amazing song that makes me smile everytime I hear it.

You, my friend, are my hero. :D

  • I favorited this video. It was just too beautiful not to.

  • what a great video

  • Whoever made this video is a fucking dusty ol bucket

  • POCAHONTAS, The best movie of Disney EVER!!!

  • love the song and pocahontas married john masterfield back in the 1700's

  • @MsChey11 ahh thats who it was i could never remeber

  • She died from the pox.

  • Comment removed

  • yea, it was John Rolfe. She died very voung. She died giving birth to her second child, i believe.

  • His name was John Rolfe, I believe.

  • omg, it's sooo beatiful. -sigh-

  • she married an english man name john something or other that lived in the new world; her name became Rebecca when she married I believe. And there are rumors that her real name is not pocahontas but something eles that only the tribe truly knows. My bf read it in one of his Native American History books.

  • I love this song.. it fits so well with the video

  • I love this story, but it's one of the few Disney stories without a happy ending

  • This goes so well! LOOOOOVE it!

  • Love the song Love the movie. Love them together! Epic..

  • nice job 5 stars

  • Why did they have to make the second one? This one was so much better.

  • @scoobypeace321 I know the second one ruined it so I just pretend there was only ever one

  • this is a great video

  • sacrafice

    reacion face*

just kidding, must be the most usual mistake ^^

  • And then she went after him, caught small pox and died.

  • Great song...Great history of the beginning in America. Great job~!

  • sacrifice

  • gud job man

  • brian goss is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeee! Best video EVER!!!!!

  • best disney princes..........she is a cartoon but soooo pretty

  • @princemeee I'd mulan is up there... even though mulan isn't a princess xD

  • You might be one of those people who want things to fall into place exactly like the events that happened. But let me tell you. This movie is SO much better than it would have been. Quite frankly, I'm glad they exaggerated things the way they did.

  • shut up twat

    this movie is amazing

it isnt supposed to be the exact truth, its a wonderful story that teached people about right and wrong, and good and evil

  • I love this song and video :D

  • Not sure, but I think in this movie Disney showed more than just one kiss :D

..or well, the love of the two was to be seen throughout the movie and it was not all about just "yeah this final kiss and they lived happily ever after" that´s why THIS movie was so special... Beautiful, and heartbreaking..! :´) oh and- kind of real, well cause can you name just one Disney movie that could be -SOMEHOW- like real life...? huh...:)

    Wow:)

  • @JacksSparrowsSweet agreed. this is probably the only Disney movie they don't live "happily ever after" or in the end they don't. John Smith doesn't die, which is good, but they are separated in the end

  • @swimmermusicluver well in my mind there isn't a second movie and after John smith got better he returned for her and they lived happily ever after, when i was little I thought it was implied, but now i know thats not what happened, but i like to think it was.

  • @JacksSparrowsSweet actually pocahontas were real, but Disney just changed the story for the children :) Shes not in love with john smith, she fell in love with John Rolfe and married him. John Smith just found her :)

  • @jachinuts i know,my friend :) ..i just..you know i think they shouldnt have made the love story of pocahonthas and john smith so wonderful if they were planning to make one of her with john rolfe later coz its taken away all the possible magic of the love...i know that in real life it was different, but a fairytale its just a fairytale and it was a beautful one until they made the ending in the second part so weird..it was rushed and i had this wtf moment:D they couldve thought more about it =/

  • @JacksSparrowsSweet I know right, it was just so sudden, and the chemistry was different :)

  • Great song NUT sad to say that Song & Video do not match...

  • @shamnet1 sorry to reply 2 years later but they kinda do if u watch it a few times...

  • ninja jump at 2:17 lol!!

  • What a brilliant video! :) :) The song goes really well!

  • I love Pocahontas.

She is my hero hahah yeah (:

    WOOOOOO!!!

    great video (=

  • dude same , pocahontas has been my hero since i first watched the movie ahah

  • I love this video cause it combined the two thing i really like so well. i do no either like pochontas 2 but its my expirence that sequalls are not so good as the original.

  • Really cool!

  • nice combo ^_^

what song is in the background tho?

  • the song is called 'my sacrifice'... i think

  • the song is "my sacrific" by creed...

    wow kul!:D

  • nice combo ^_^

  • I loved the vid. I loved the movie too. The second movie was good but I hated that she fell in love with John Rolfe when she thought John Smith was dead.

In history her and John Rolfe really got married to keep peace and when she went to england she found out john Smith was alive but she refused to see him. I think it's because she was still in love with him. I know her and John Rolfe went to return to America but she either caught a fever or small pox. I can't remember. >:P

  • If I recall my history properly (though admittedly foggy), she was also about 12 when she met John Smith, and John Smith was well known for 'big fish' stories so it is possible she didn't actually fall for him. Of course, I am a hopeless romantic and prefer to believe that they fell in love. :)

  • Yeah, actually he was more like a father figure to her than a love interest. But I do love this movie, she's my favorite Disney Princess. ^-^

  • this is my favorite disney movie... and i hated the second, the fact that she fell in love with john rolfe sickens me... he is ugly!

  • Well in real history she never fell in love with john smith and she was married to an indian man who died in battle and afterwards she converted to christianity and married john rolfe. when she met john smith he was like in his late twenties, early thirties and she was barely 12 years old!

  • yea i know i got tht movie when tht happened, when i was 6. and then i saw this verson a few years later, & i was like WTF

  • ohh my god this video almost brought tears to my eyes. to the person who made this you did an excellent job. wow i dont even know what to say just wow. i dont really get worked up emotionally on videos but this one really got to me. good work

  • bravo bravo i love this song it goes beuatifully with this video *aplause*

  • Who sings this? Great movie!

  • creed sings this song...i love it so much :D

  • awesome video!

    5*s!

    love this song. :)

  • Wow that was absolutley gorgeous. You should get some kinda award.

  • Real awesome where did you get the movie from, i can't find online

  • it's called Pocahontas and I'm pretty sure you can find it on YouTube

  • i meant download to make an amv

  • *Lol well while we are talking about this i just know some of this from history but i watched this disney movie but ya plus when My teacher Mr.Zinni was talking to us about this in class i remeber the pic. & Pochatonas doesn't look anything from in the movie nor either john smith but that's the true part difference from disney so ya =)*

  • lovely! =]

  • they go really good together....

  • wow. i luv creed and pocahontas 2gether

  • In the true story, Pocahontas falls in love with John Smith when she is only about 13 years old. Much happens before he returns to england without her and she finds out he is dead. She then goes to England and falls in love with John Rolfe, they have a child. When she meets John Smith again, they are still in love but she leaves him and returns back home with her new family when she is around 23. On the way home she catches a fever and dies.

  • yeah thats true and she's buried in kent somewhere!!!!

  • ya and john smith is like a fat man who cheets, right?

  • no way O_o

  • I read in my history book that her and John Smith had nothing to do together. It was really her and John Rolfe. They only got married because her father and John Rolfe were trying to make peace. She does go to England and catches a fever which caused her to die

  • i just love the story about pocahontas!

even though i think walt disney kind'a ruined the story, cuz it is based on a true story actually, but she died when she was like 23 or somthing.. love the song

  • Amazing, thanks so much!

  • great song with video!

  • this song really is the best, although i think a better clip would be prudent

  • i lvvvvvvvvvvvv this song

  • amaaaaaaazing!!!

  • great song luv it ! pocahantas was my fav when i was small

  • This song brings back alot memories when it was on Raw commericals and Creed is a very good group to listen to as a rock music genre. Very nice.

  • Nice ^^

  • Beautiful

  • aw i love this song! it goes reli well!.

  • Can anyone tell me who the name of the artist is playing this song? PLease and thank you, oh and I love POCAHONTAS!

  • Creed. Its in the credits . . .

  • Pocahantas didn't marry John Smith she married someone else It was John something I think I was learning about it in American-Native American Studies

  • Nope she married some Englishmen I believe o_O Im rusty on history.

  • It was John Rolfe. LOL, Rolfe XD ROFL = Rolfe!!

  • @Starfire23104 shemarried an englishman but his name was John as well his last name began with an "R" I believe

  • @Starfire23104 she married an english man name john something or other that lived in the new world; her name became Rebecca when she married I believe. And there are rumors that her real name is not pocahontas but something eles that only the tribe truly knows. My bf read it in one of his Native American History books.

  • @TheLadyofShalott88

    "Playful One"

  • @Starfire23104 she married John Ralph in real life i think, which was also in the movie Pocahontas 2.

  • @ganttizdrama2 rolfe... damn that movie!

  • @h4t3v3r ??? i dont get what you mean lol

  • Comment removed

  • @Starfire23104 she married John Rolfe.

The real Pocahontas was only 12 when she met the real John Smith. They couldn't have been an item, so they didn't. It's still a hell of a Disney story, though

  • John Rolfe was his name, I think. She was only ten years old when she met John Smith, am I remembering that right?

  • i dun think so, i dun think she was only 10

  • Yeah, she married John Rolfe, and she did actually meet John Smith when she was a teenager, but she never fell in love with him. Actually, John Smith was pretty old.

  • @TtotheShay your exactly right, it wasnt john smith it was john rolfe. john smith was the captain and leader of the second try at the colonies with his rule "if you dont work you dont eat" he was a very strict man. but it was john rolfe who was known to marry pocahontas. i like history ;-)

  • @TtotheShay john rolfe

  • Well done. Pocahontas is my fav Disney movie.

  • this songs pants"

  • -Her birth name was Matoaka. Pocahontas was her nickname.

-She met John Smith when she was 10 or 11. He was taken captive by her father and when he came back, he reported that he was treated well. He didn't see fit to tell the story of her "saving his life" until years later, which is why his story has been disputed for many years.

-John Smith was injured on a barge while he was sleeping when some gunpowder exploded.

-He was sent back to England to recover. Pocahontas was told he was dead.

  • -She would often visit the English settlement of Jamestown.

-She was taken captive and held for ransom for over a year.

-During her captivity, she met John Rolfe, a tobacco farmer.

-She was converted to Christianity, baptized, and christened "Rebecca."

-She married John Rolfe and had a son named Thomas Rolfe. This marriage helped garner peace between the Natives and the English for a while.

  • -She and her family went to England.

-She was well-known and admired in English society.

-She met John Smith again in England, and the first time she saw him, she couldn't speak. --Whether she was angry with him or just too overcome with emotion because she thought he was dead is unclear.

-She died on her way back to Virginia at the age of 21 or 22.

  • i love them very match. john smith is very cute and beutifu( pocahontas too)!!
