:D Rock N' Roll is bound to come back around. The Beatles are still popular (hehe... I'm 12 and I adore the Beatles!) and they're getting more popular every day.

If the Beatles never had made any music together, there wouldn't be any meaning to life... None at all. The Beatles can always put a smile on your face and keep it there and work magic!

Why do people have to post mean things on the Beatles songs? They came in during a time a peace loving and that's what most of their songs are as the years go on. No matter the age you can still love them I'm 18 and I can honestly say I do love them. As a child my dad and I would sit and listen to Beatles records. Music is for everyone

Ok, I can clearly see alot of debate on this page about comparisons between modern bands and The Beatles. In my opinion SOME modern bands are good, however nothing really compares to the old fashioned phenomanom that is rock.

The Beatles came along at the right time. If it was not the Beatles another band would have came along.

But Beatles are a great band, along with a lot of great bands around that time.

Personally though I will always prefere old classics such as The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, etc. And I understand the logic of you saying The Beatles came along at the right time, but, i'm sure, if I had heard their music I would have completely stuck with them- not whatever was on at that time- this is impossible seeing as I wasn't actually alive at that point...

When I was 14 (1968) me and a few buddies formed a band and played many Beatles songs. I played bass on a six string guitar. But there was a bass guitar just like Paul used hanging on the wall of the local music shop and I would go there often to see it as I saved my money. I never was able to get it though. I wish I had. We played at some school dances and some parties. Man the girls loved hearing us play these great Beatles songs. Great times.

Elvis is the king of rock n roll and easily the biggest influence on the beatles (all four beatles admittted to this at various times over the years) and totally blew the doors open for rock n roll beyond it being the flavour of the month. he was a true revolutionary like the beatles and we may never see their like again.

On the stereo version of Please Please Me John does laugh...it's because he made a mistake in the verse prior- - he sings, "Why do I never...", instead of "I know you never...", which is what he was supposed to sing. The mistake isn't in the mono version (45 rpm).

I'm trying to figure out what lennon is playing in this song, some people say he is playing a c diatonic but in one interview he sad a harmonica with a button therefore chromatic but they switch to photos during the bridge which would ultimately decide the key and possibly seeing him push the button. Awesome song none the less, one of my favs
