@liznichollable the phrasing of the lead is similar (NOT the same) once you get past Sabbath's usual opening stanzas but that is about it as far as I can tell. Certainly doesn't qualify for a cry of RIP OFF in my book.

Given the similarity of just about all modern music, and frequent "sampling" of classics, surely you are not going to begrudge Stonefield their time in the sun? They are damned good at what they do, and a welcome breath of good music in a largely uninteresting industry.

In the context of american hip hop, i would call arrested development or even DJ Qbert boundary pushing. kanye west is not a pioneer of any new form of music. I could tell you my entire position on experimental music but i have got things to do in the next few days so i will say this. Kanye however popular or even talented he may be (some talent must be involved to top the charts), is not an experimental artist.
