For anyone confused about the lights LEDs have a refresh rate, so does the camera. Sometimes when the camera takes one of the many images it does a second, the LEDs are briefly off. The human eye does not have a very fast shutter rate so it is unnoticeable to us.

How is the R1 faster? The 911 is so much heavier, yes, so it would not have a great advantage at all out of the hole, but highway speeds it would crush an RI. People seem to overlook that. Also, the average rider would get absolutely embarrassed around corners by this Porsche. The r1 would struggle to get to 165-170, while this Porsche is at least 35 mph faster on top end, and can outbreak any bike.

Okay fine if you're talking ridiculously expensive supercars. Getting off the line cars are better, but in gear acceleration and through the gears other than perhaps for an F1 car, bikes are better. Case in point, Bugatti Veyron does 0-60mph in 2.5 secs approx, and 0-100mph in 5.7. BMW S1000RR - 0-60mph in 2.8 secs but from 60-100 its faster as 0-100mph is 5.6 secs (source: BIKE Magazine).
