I'm amazed that they've actually seemed to capture the elements in 4 different music styles. You really could describe these songs as being "earthy." or "Raw." and the same goes for the other 3 volumes. It's freaking wicked.

I'm quite disappointed in the last decade. Back then in the 70's through the 90's some of band including the popular bands started off weak but eventually got better and better over time writing different music and sometimes creating new genres and noteworthy stuff, nowadays, there's is only a handful that go to different territory and some bands get worse over time. What happened?

i think its funny that people say they older albums are better acting like thrice would appreciate that... but theres a reason they changed... may it be drugs or just personal style, but either way, they do well showing emotion in the music, regardless of the style, im a big fan of all of the albums, i relate to the alchemy most just cause its more my style but they are amazing regardless

This song makes me think of my dad.. He's an alcoholic and a smoker. He remarried a year after him and my mom divorced. He says he's happy with his new life, but I have a feeling he's really sad and trying to forget what happened between him and my mom. :/

the fact of the matter is thrice grew up and started to do what pretty much every band does and take what the fans think the band is and totally turn it around when they experiment with there music which has been the way for years its nothing new. The Alchemy Indexs will probably give thrice great recognition in the future with like music theory and maybe even the hall of fame and they did the same thing with Beggars. Over all every album they have put out is amazing in my opinion.

I think it's sad that on every single Thrice Video someone says listen to identity crisis, Identy Crisis is awesome dont get me wrong and people really should listen to it, but it is so disrespectful to act like that is their only good record or that thier first three are their only good records. I hope you dont honestly believe you are getting some sort of invisible musical credibility by acting like you are a true fan of a band by only referencing their older stuff.

i agree, also identity crisis is one of taste in music, personally the alchemy index is something that should never be touched, its perfect as it is. its a new direction by thrice and therfore should not be compared to the other. brilliant album!!!

I love knowing how much money people make. I don't mean it in an envious, nosy or coveting kind of way. It's just such a taboo subject, and I'm curious. Especially with jobs like 'Musician' or 'Astronaut' or anything not 9-5.

My friends and I are all really open about money. We never used to be, but one day someone just started a conversation about how much we all had, what our outgoings were, etc. and everyone loosened up. It's interesting because it puts stuff in perspective.
