The music is blocky, meaning a chord progression with all the possible composition errors, parallel intervals and so on, but those guys are funny and seem smart, Great video for beginners though, i wish i had these resources when i was learning by myself with my Lexicon card... lol thanks, and dont mean to be rude in any aspect! Bye
You make good points about the composition. We just improvised something simple on the spot. The focus was on using the gear. Thanks very much for you comment. Cheers
yay. a dream studio! nice show off too ;) you can even go much further and replace live musicians with plugins and samplers in these days. i love to drum on my TrapKAT with DKFH for example. bad thing that samplers and plugins are not applicable in free improvised situations...
Well we like to play the things. Some pluggins work well in a live situation if you add a controller to them. Then it is just like working any fx box like flange or echo or whatever.
do you want me to fly stright in U.S.A. wherever you live jump right into your studio and record my things? man it takes a while to do and a lot of many saved to spent. sorry it will be next time. Claudio
This is brilliant! I used to be a recording engineer/producer back in the '80's. Everything is so much better and easier now. This is just beautiful, makes me want to get into a studio again. Thanks for this awesome video!
Thanks very much for your kind words. Yes! It has never been less expensive nor has it ever been less difficult. Today you can have a 32 track digital home studio with mixer/control surface etc for something like$5000. You need mics and stuff remember. A little education and a relatively small investment goes a long way now days. The system here is a ProTools HD2 with Control 24 console. It is real nice. Check out www.dmx.touro.edu. I have more information there.
give me 3 years and ill understand how this all works haha

You can do it. Once you get the idea of signal flow and level and all comes together.

Absolutely. Anyway I feel like a looser with my little Cubase setup against your ProTools. At least I have two monitors to compete! ;)
