@ReXxRapTar thanks for checking out my original material too, available on Itunes, Amazon and my personal store w w w . franciscomeza . bandcamp . com
Dear God...you deserve to be famous. This is better guitar work than 95% of anything I have ever heard. (The 5 percent being SRV, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani)
@franciscomeza11 thanks a lot, and yeah, that may cause problems cause i ain't got one. still that aint good enough a reason for me to now learn the song :) i'll just have to not include bits :/
@souerman123 woah dude listening this out is a nightmare! much harder then i expected, this is gonna tame me like a month to hear out properly! i'm not givin up ;)!
The scary part is that I have seen him perform live and he is as good if not better on stage. I hope he will make it and that he can enjoy life living his dream without having to work a 9-5 job taking away time where he could be creative.
Francisco!!! Dude you are fast becoming one of my favorite artists!!! This song has so much depth and back breaking chords...and the haunting part in the middle! Whew. GREAT. Am going to buy this album off itunes in the very near future. I hope (and expect) you will hit the big time SOON!
I loved the mix of Opeth and Dream Theater here, there were moments where I thought the song sounded one Opeth (especially the acoustic section) and there were the moments where it sounded like Dream. Either way, I really appreciated the work here. This is true win. :D
@TheDarklord517 thanks man, the new one is available as of yesterday Tuesday, hope you get it, it is called The Restless Mind, available on Itunes and franciscomeza . bandcamp . com

@billoz1968 thanks a lot for the kind comment. This track is on my second album coming out on itunes and everywhere else in a couple of weeks. You can keep in the loop by joining me at facebook . com / franciscomezamusic thanks again
Hi Francisco--This is a great track. I enjoy all of your covers and this song will have me checking out all of your original stuff. I was just wondering what tuning you use when you play your original work?
@thevadercrucible thanks a lot man, glad you liked it and that you'll check the rest. Just to let you know, the first album is still available (Innocence of Insanity) the second album (The Restless Mind) will be out in 2 weeks on itunes and everywhere else.
Regarding the tuning, it depends on what guitar, I have used E standard, D standard, drop B, E flat, Drop D. This particular track is on standard E it is just that it is played on a 7 string guitar, which adds a lower B
the track is now available by itself or with the albym, hope you get it, it is called The Restless Mind, available on Itunes and franciscomeza . bandcamp . com
@HABIBvonPLOP thanks for watching :) this track will be available in my 2nd album in a matter of couple of weeks, The album has been sent to online retailers worldwide, keep in touch at facebook . com / franciscomezamusic

Actually, except from the begining riff and the acoustic part you didn't really remind my Opeth and its great 'cause you do great ORIGINAL music, and I enjoyed every second of this song! I'm happy that you put that link on Opeth cover : )
Hombre!!! enserio eres mi heroe, Yeah!!! nada mas te recomiendo que aprendas a usar mas el bajo sin plumilla... pero la guitarra es perfecta (relativamente) hehe muy bueno compañero !
Brilliant Dude!! Superb acoustic bit (very Opeth) - you are supremely talented and congratulations on ajob well done - it would be great with a vocalist! though!
I presume you are in a band cause if not you should be!!!
@MatCumb91 it's not about what's the best but which one you prefer. go to a store and ask to try them, some people prefer glass over steel. the brass (not copper sorry) are mostly used in acoustic instruments. I simply prefer steel because it won't brake if I drop it
i was just going to ask if you would consider a 7 string cause ive never seen you play one. lol but i guess you have. i've never play a seven string before but really want one. then today i went to Long & McQuades and they had a Ibanez RGA7 and im telling ya; it feels f*ing amazing. i would love a Jp7 like the JPXI7 man it's soo nice. but i dont have like 5 G's lol Awesome song

Really great except for the last minute and a half -- not that it's bad material it just feels tacked on. Just barely crossed over the line of stop/start-iness, especially when ANOTHER solo started. Plus a fade out, not a super strong ending in my opinion.
Dream Theater, Trivium, Some Slash styles in there, Metallica sort of, and Yourself. Im pretty sure if all of these bands played at one place, you'd most def. be the guitarist, and the bassist, and basically a one man band. Your videos are so incredible and you really could make it big time(if you haven't already..) Kudos to you cause your music is a masterpiece..every. single. song.
Wow... Dream Theater, Opeth, GnR, Metallica, Iron Maiden and on top of that, Francisco Meza... amazing job man! Keep on working I'm just waiting for your second album to come out. The first one was absolutely epic, the second one sounds to be just better. Thanks for the good music.
truly lost in a dream! Your composition skills are bar none top of the line...some metal acts that have been around for over a decade or two can't touch this :)
I can't be bothered to read through all of these comments, but there's also a pretty clear reference to "In the Name of God". The riff you start and and continue in the bass at :30 is very nicely put in and a clear reference to one of Dream Theater's best.
Am I ever going to be able to purchase this song? Because I want it on my mp3 player really bad lol. I bought your first album on amazon btw, it's fantastic.
@glint20 rip off? well that is arguable if you ask me. I have obtained a license to incorporate some elements of the original composition, It is a tribute to my favourite band, i certainly do not mean to rip off anyone

@glint20 rip off? well that is arguable if you ask me. I have obtained a license to incorporate some elements of the original composition, It is a tribute to my favourite band, i certainly do not mean to rip off anyone
