  • Do you have any issues the handguards hit the screen at full turn?

  • @Marvin198325 They do actually touch the screen just before full lock but it's only a couple centimeters maybe. The screen is pliable enough to allow the bars to go to full lock if you really have to.

  • my next bike maybe

  • Wow,, is that crossfield elementary?

  • @fishstickscc I dunno actually.....where's that?

  • @wanvaldez its around fox mill

  • @fishstickscc yeah i think so probably then....i was around that area

  • hi, i'm thinking on buying a versys (seems like a really great bike ) but i don´t know if I may be to tall to ride it with comfort (i'm 1.9 meters) i appreciate any advice :)

  • @faustinoeldelbarrio Oh man I got short legs too and the seat is pretty tall. There's a nice gel seat that is lower that I would like to try but haven't. Once you've got your feet up it's great but in very low speed and parking situations you have to plan ahead. I kinda perch on one foot off to the side. I'm only 1.7 meters.

  • @faustinoeldelbarrio I got a Versys 08 and I am 1.89 meters, it suits me just fine, God overwie of the traffic (sitthigh 0,835 meters) but you don get so much windprotection, but shorter speed up to 160 km/h is no problem.

  • @Mercelot Thanks for the advice, actually i found a very good deal on a ktm 640 adv and took it but both are great bikes, just different. Had to sacrifice some things like comfort and top speed but i hope they'll be compensated with other stuff ;).

  • I sure it will:) It looks like a bike for more fun driving, wheelis an stuff:)

  • i'm 1.95 meters, i've got versys 2008, no problems to ride the bike, its very comfortable, tons of fun....

  • Enjoyed the vid, very well done. Versys is on my short-list for next bike. I mainly ride secondary highways and gravel roads. This bike seems perfectly suited for that, and also capable and adequate for the eight hour jaunt required to visit family. Thank you for the 'test ride'.

P.S. - I can't find the video taken from the side of the tank. What is the name of it, or could you provide a shortcut?

  • @bmwbobduper Hey thanks for the comment. I will say if you were going to use it for a lot of gravel roads I would probably get a bit more aggressive tires because the ones on it are pretty pavement-friendly. I've ridden 8 hour trips a handful of times and it does great...feels like I could go even farther. If you click my name it will go to my other videos and the one you're talking about is there.

  • it took me 1:58 to realize this is a computer generated image. Damns, is great to be old. we don't need drugs anymore :0)

  • Good video but all I keep thinking about is, "deer"..

  • @daedalx haha if you look at the next video from the side of the tank on the same road there actually is a deer running on the right side of the road
