  • I had my doubts about the Styrofoam gasket and decided to x it out. I was pleased you concurred. Thanks for the posting.

    That styrofoam gasket wouldn't keep a fly afloat in the water. Very thin and I always replace it with plumbers putty. I have been using it for years and it works great.
