I like this version better, though that one is good too...that video became more popular because Pakistan is a much larger country. what I'd like to know is who the original song is by...whose lyrics were they originally.

@TheDirtyPaki. Truly it is very difficult to say where it was originated, but for sure it is Khorasani song, it could be Tajikistan and Afghanistan or north- west of Iran. Bina Sima folk singer from Iran also performed this song long time ago, I used to hear this song while Tajikistan was part of Soviet Union.I fogot the name of the singer who sand this song. But for sure it was around late 70 th and biginning of 80 th.

Lovely song...and the Pakistani version is also very nice although there is a difference in lyrics but is still very nice.....love For Farsi speaking Tajikistan, Iran, Pakistan, Afghan and others.....said Paksitan because it has the second largest population of hazara who speak farsi and those Afghans which are mixed Pakistani and Afghani.........
