I read vista magazine and I have this issue about how to transform your vista to 7 so later on i'll make videos about how to get boot screen and stuff.
Hi I m currently running the w7 beta on my xps m 1530 laptop,I m not able to run the aero shake and aero peek features....can anybody help me out here please?
i have the same laptop nd i run windows 7, u need 2 install the nvidia driver on the drivers and utilitys disc, then go into system update and optional updates and install the ndvidia update, restart, then rate your system and it will activate it.
Hey, why is your "open windows" section different on the taskbar? Check out my videos you will see what I mean. Yours have Text, and mine dont. (Same build) Nice video by the way, and I want the Beta too.
I was actually VERY impressed with Windows 7. It succeeds in every place that Vista failed. With Vista, my CPU would be around 17% on each core just sitting there, where as now it shows anywhere from 0 to 3%. It utilizes RAM very well too. Not that it's needed right now, but direct X 11. This is the OS that Microsoft planned for. Couldn't be happier.
this is true. :) I've installed windows 7 me too, and I've seen these thinks that are really happen. I'm happier that the new OS leaves the processor alone and he sitting at 0% when it's idle. also the new interface is more beautiful and friendly. Vista for me usually takes 1 gb of ram. 7 takes just 500-600 mb of ram. I hope that the final release will be much better than this version, or at least as good as the build 6956. I hope that windows 7 is the next OS, not Vista, and it seems to be. :)
Looks to be less of a resource hog than vista. What are the specs of your pc you are running that on? And how did you get a copy of the beta? I would love to try out windows 7.

probably your video adapter is not configured, you need to install the driver of the GPU to enable all aero features
