YOu can buy the exact same type of potato from Maine, Canada and other parts of the US and not pay the price you pay for the ID spuds. Its the same Russet potato--but don't call an Idaho a russet--you have to call is an Idaho. Its all about marketing, and they've got the big bucks to do it!!
