  • Was there at the G-fest - what an awesome voice that man has!

    Never saw Purple with Hughes and Coverdale but that musta been something else, and I saw DP MkII in '72. Soren did a passable job of Mistreated and Burn as well, though the sound quality in the hall was not kind to him.

    Looking at the angle to the stage I musta just been behind the cameraman...
