People say that Matt is no Rachmaninov when it comes to piano. This is obviously true, because Matt has his own style. Of course it has its influences, but it is used entirely differently. Rachmaninov never played guitar, sang, or did stage acrobatics ( especially not all in one gig.) What makes Matt REALLY good is that he is a jack of all trades AND he's a freaking good stage performer. And he has a British accent.

@MattGuerry when you play piano, you start in the middle then depending on how low or high you play on the piano, you adjust yourself to make it easier. also the moving makes it feel as if your dancing to your own MUSEic :)

its weird because hes an exceptional pianist. like hes not quite a concert pianist but he is way beyond grade 8. like on guitar he isnt nescesarily anywhere near the level. im studying piano for high grades now and matt is just incredible. like wow. great guitarist dont get me wrong but simply he is a much greater pianist. however his innovation in guitar effects has really been incredible. the exogenesis thing, compared to the romantic period is a little cliche

For instance zimerman playing chopin etudes. That's the way to treat a piano.
