you don't have to pay to play to be GOOD at the game. the items that increase your damage dealt by 50% are GIVEN to you in a very easy daily quest starting at level 16. on top of that, in the beginning of the game you're given 7 incense (7 days worth of this buff) which is more than enough to get to level 16 without having to pay for any buff. also, you can simply talk to an npc in the main cities on both factions who'll give you the free buff for 4 hours if you don't plan on being online long.

Okay Look please stop saying a WoW clone,yes it does have similiar graphics but other then that pretty much nothing is the same,especially core game thing,such as pvp.I personally have played both (Though I haven't done end game cataclysm,I quit WoW) and end game pvp in WoW normally lasted around 20 seconds,and it was just a contest of who could faceroll faster and output the most dps.Allods endgame PvP actually takes a bit of time and is challenging....at least 1v1.

i love blizzard cause of starcraft, but blizzard is famous for its copying. if you look into their history, they first wanted to make a computer game version of warhammer (the tabletop game) then were rejected the copyright for it. they changed the name of the game and little differences, then started selling the game anyway. warcraft is warhammer. starcraft is warhammer 40k.

you can't compare a f2p game to a p2p game.. the only reason that most people get hooked on p2p games like wow, is because they have put money into it, and dont want to quit playing because of all the money they would have wasted, where with games like this you can stop playing if you get bored of it and not feel like you wasted any money.. unless you spent a shit load of money on gPotatoes, lol.. but like with most games, your char will still be there if you leave the game for a while.

actually you start in noob clothes, the character creation screen just shows them in typical awesome clothing that fits their class. it shows you what you can look like at the end. actually you get way more at the end, but these are just generic. i believe you can buy "costumes" that make you look like these characters.
