Murder City is about Oakland, California. He wrote it after the killing of a young man by a transit authority cop in January. It was caught on video. He just stood up, pulled his gun and shot the boy in the back(he was on the floor, being held by at least one other cop). Really shattering to see the video.

i think this CD has more good songs than america idiot; i mean, american idiot was an excelent CD, but just like 5 or 6 songs very notables, but all the songs in this new album are in a extraordinary level, i cant choose my favorite one xD; so for this i think 21st is better american idiot, but both are exelents CDs
