I think the whole debate about the Queen's exact title is silly. It's just an acceptable and informal way to refer to the Queen and indeed the Royal family themselves have used the phrase - for example, the Queen referred to George V as Grandpa England when she was a child - because she knew he was king of England. HM's official title is Queen of UK, etc. but that's rather a mouthful, so referring to Her Majesty as "the Queen of England" is quite acceptable.

I think the whole debate about the Queen's exact title is silly. It's just an acceptable and informal way to refer to the Queen and indeed the Royal family themselves have used the phrase - for example, the Queen referred to George V as Grandpa England when she was a child - because she knew he was king of England. HM's official title is Queen of UK, etc. but that's rather a mouthful, so referring to Her Majesty as "the Queen of England" is quite acceptable.

The Queen does alot more than you ever do and brings at on average £200 million into the treasury each year, She deals rules parliament in times of crisis and appoints the prime minister in both crissi and whan there is no crisis, She is a diplomat and is working at least five engagements a day with exceptions of holidays and Sunday. The Queen does not need protection in a car that is perfectly safe and with police around and many people wont attack and she relies on the protection of GOD.

Its not about being righteous, it is about being accurate. I fully understand why the term Queen of England is used and all of the media including the British press say it sometimes. But "Queen of England" is just an inaccurate term because she is Queen of the United Kingdom. She holds no title "Queen of England", a position abolished in 1707 when England and Scotland joined in union to form the Kingdom of Great Britain.

I just can't agree with you. The prince is one of the biggest charity workers in Britain. He focuses on equality every day. So what if he took a private jet once, at least he made the effort to do something, and he barely uses them now. You should be very proud of him.
Also if you think Charles was bad to Diana, then god knows what you think of Diana, she genuinely had affairs and slept around, Harry is clearly not Charles son. Diana was a very bad woman.

Prince Charles will make a wonderful King. He has done more than any government or official department around issues like youth unemployment, developing and supporting young business, on issues relating to the environment, architecture, planning, agriculture etc etc. He will be a very different monarch to his mother but in his own way every bit as good. He's had a difficult personal life but a totally admirable public one!

Ummm... there's even a Wikipedia page devoted to 'Air transport of the royal family'.... There's an entire fleet of jets at their disposal (and a private helicopter)... The carbon footprint (and cost to the taxpayer) must be massive.... though I've read Charles and Camilla usually charter a private jet for travel - guess it's comfier.
And... if the royal family have so much money... why do they still claim the eqivilent of 325,000 'normal families' (i.e. with 2 kids) every year?

Yes there is more to say, i say if we are such a democratic country then we should have the right to decide if we want to contribute our own money to these parasites. You like them, i dont, you keep them as i dont want them. There money should be deducted from your wage packets every week so you can see how much they cost. Would you agree to this? The Royal family costs each taxpayer about 60p-70p per year. That's a bit more than a chocolate bar. The majority or Presidents around the world cost more. And the royal family bring in more money through tourism than they cost us.
