it has nothing to do with his singing, its not that he's good singer or has good voice..to me he's totally out of tune...its just the magic of song and lyrics...even someone who can sing a little bit and if he sings this magic of gulzar and rd burman would bring tears into anyone eyes.

If it was 60 some years ago, it would have been called Indian talent. So, dear Pakistanis: Be grateful for where he is now and him being welcomed in India. Leave your political differences in the toilet and begin your baby steps of understanding arts, humanity and India
No one appreciates the fact a pakistani singer became 3rd in the entire contest and millions of Indians only voted for him leaving other Indians present there... and to be honest he really does not deserve the first place.. and there is nothing against any particular country.. Truth is Truth.. sorry brother..

You do not see India brought Amanat Ali here and gave him platform to get started on the successful path...Look how far he has riched because of it Pakistan didnot do this for him.... besides Aneek was excellent singer too....Both were good but Aneek was an allrounder and so he came 1st...Amanat came 2nd because he fell a little short...He is still good and will be successfull...He should be gratefull to India.....Vasim
@veekayart You are right about one thing, Indian Singing competition gave him a huge life towards stardom and Amanat should be grateful for that but Aneek was never a better singer than Amanat or even Raja Hasan. He had a great thing going for him and that was being an Indian in India. Please do not get me wrong if this competition was held in Pakistan there was no way Aneek would win. It's that simple. We are not there yet where we will vote for the better person over who is our own.

According to me Aneek is far better and complete singer than Amanat.. in all terms.anyways again at the end of the day likes and dislikes cannot be questioned.. But I don't get one thing.. at least in this renowned contests in India at least we have opened the doors for Pakistani artists and talents to bloom..
