Scotland is a very, very dangerous place for ANYONE who is Catholic, Irish or who follows the Catholic soccer team CELTIC. After most CELTIC/RANGERS soccer games Catholics and ANYONE with an IRISH sounding name tends to be attacked from a large portion of the majority Protestant population. Scotland tends to turn a blind eye to these attacks because the victims are mostly Catholic & Irish and Scotland's sectarian reputation and history towards Catholics and Irish people is quite shameful.

Today is the second year aniversary of my grandfathers death.. His dath has changed my life he was the one i looked up to.. But as i sitt here and watch this video it makes me relize that hes in a better place watching over his beautiful home land standing along side my grandmother and my mother out in the highlands in my grandmas favorite spot.. i miss him dearly and i wish he was here to help me, and make me laugh with that accent of his as he tells me tails about back home. i miss him alot
Yup, I'm very proud to be Scottish. We live in a beautiful country, with beautiful countryside, an awesome coastline, a tangible history, a lively culture of music and literature. We have wonderfuld castles, stately homes and monuments. Scottish scientists, thinkers and philosophers have perhaps contributed more to the world than anyone else.
I just wish more Scots took pride in their country :-/

Scotland is a very, very dangerous place for ANYONE who is Catholic, Irish or who follows the Catholic soccer team CELTIC. After most CELTIC/RANGERS soccer games Catholics and ANYONE with an IRISH sounding name tends to be attacked from a large portion of the majority Protestant population. Scotland tends to turn a blind eye to these attacks because the victims are mostly Catholic & Irish and Scotland's sectarian reputation and history towards Catholics and Irish people is quite shameful.

I totally DISAGREE with you. My whole family moved to Scotland from Ireland and none of us has ever had any problems with the Scottish people. I am also a Catholic and Celtic supported. I have got Irish neighbours who also love it here and have never had any problems,
I lOVE Scotland and the Scottish people are welcoming and friendly.

See, in the Highlands none of this happens. No one is ever beat up because they are Catholic, but that's just because there's a whole different history.
The irony of this whole thing is that a huge number of Scots, especially in the West and around Glasgow, are descended from the Irish.

But beyond that, the Scottish people are great people. You get arseholes everywhere, but as a whole we're friendly and welcoming. It's only what the Romans called the Highlands. Only in recent history has it been put to use to name the entire country (and by "country", I mean Scotland as Britain is not a country despite what the English Media will have you believe).

Scotland is Beautiful. The Reason Why There is so much wild life and Beauty is that it is not largely populated with only 5 Million People and they mainly live in central Scotland, almost half the population live in Glasgow City. Edinburgh is very Classy

Today is the second year aniversary of my grandfathers death.. His dath has changed my life he was the one i looked up to.. But as i sitt here and watch this video it makes me relize that hes in a better place watching over his beautiful home land standing along side my grandmother and my mother out in the highlands in my grandmas favorite spot.. i miss him dearly and i wish he was here to help me, and make me laugh with that accent of his as he tells me tails about back home. i miss him alot

Yup, I'm very proud to be Scottish. We live in a beautiful country, with beautiful countryside, an awesome coastline, a tangible history, a lively culture of music and literature. We have wonderfuld castles, stately homes and monuments. Scottish scientists, thinkers and philosophers have perhaps contributed more to the world than anyone else.
I just wish more Scots took pride in their country :-/
