I am going to do the exact same setup . This is the best sounding impreza ive heard in a long long time. makes me real jealous :| God it sounds so damn good! Its got the raspy / growl sound. i fuckin love it!!! (yea i gotta calm down)

@tjamesburnham it was roughly $1,800 to do it all. i probably saved a lot by putting it on my self. It took me 3 months to find everything and make sure it all fit. the reason i did it all was because i wanted the apexi n1 exhaust then found out that it did not just bolt up and i didn't want to cut it up to make it work so i just decided to do the entire thing.

i have a 2.5i aswell and i was wondering what kind of muffler and tip you had before you put on the apex cuz i dont have much money for a catback i like your muffler before aswell thanks

@patryk275120 it's a magnaflow with a standard round with round over tip. i think it was about 150 or so installed.

@patryk275120 it was just some random tip he had to choose from. it wasn't anything special really, just the one i liked. if you go to a muffler shop to get ti put on or to even get a tip, they should have a good amount to choose from.

@radstang1989 hey it's the 1996-2000. the product code is 162-kf01. i'm pretty sure its the 60mm, because i got the one for the 2.5i rs.

Just a question, did everything mount up fine with it being the GC instead of GD N1 ?

@XxXDrummerxXx, one exhaust hanger didn't like up very well. but it was still able to connect. in order for the exhaust to line up i did have to buy the highflow cat and the headers. other wise i would have had to have the flange on the N1 cut and rewelded to make it line up with the factory side of the cat. hope that helps....

it's the borla UEL headers, stromung high flow cat, apexi n1 cat back exhaust. O2 sensor extension, w/ spacer, jet hot coating on the headers and high flow cat.

wow. Amazingly well done comparison video, all should be like this. Anyway, that is a GREAT difference, sounds beastly for a 2.5i especially. Unequal length headers ftw!

im buyin a suby in a few months. 2.5 n/a for sure. now that i know i can get that dirty sound without the turbo. i would opt for the turbo but for 1 ppl in ontario are scared to race cause of the new laws. including me. and 2 insurance has got to be waaaaaaaaaay cheeper. how much was this set up. im thinkin of just getting them to make me custom unequal headers to like 2.5 all the way thru obviously upgrading cat rez and muffler. awsome care man. realy has put the icing on the cake for me.
