I am sorry Mr. Barber, but "Federalists" were the ones who supported the Constitution over the Bill of Rights. The Constitution called for a STRONGER national government. The ones who wanted a SMALLER national government were the "ANTI-Federalists." And as for "our founding fathers' visions," many of them actually wanted to make the federal government even LARGER than it is, and the only reason that they didn't was that they were scared of the still-revolutionary masses.
