  • @RoosterMcgoo

Don´t be so sure, read the rules and don´t give your own opionion...

  • that a way to use ur head...

  • DDDDDDDDDAAAAYYYYYUUUUMMM

  • hahaha that was cool but i hit heads alot im a catcher and when my fielders miss balls i hit runners but it feels good to see sombody else do it lol

  • i wonder if this was the only way for him to get on tv (or at least youtube)

  • Puns suck

  • HEADSHOT BIATCH YOU JUST GOT OWWWNED

  • Pause at :05. second baseman points at shortstop and tells him to hit the runner.

  • @13crayon13 ....that "point" is the second baseman tossing the ball to the shortstop.

  • @13crayon13 is that some kind of stupid joke?

  • @drone713 my brothers wrote that stupid comment to embarass me

  • BOOM!! HEADSHOT!!!

  • Keep your head in the game! *ball hits his head* ......good job!

  • LOOK MOM NO HANDS!!!

  • lucky the ball hit the helmet not the face if he didnt slide it would of hit him right in the face and that would of not felt good at all!!!

  • It's not runner interference cuz he slid, if he didn't slide it would of been interference. Well done

  • <3 Helmets

  • camera man sucks

  • stupid camera man ur suppose to keep focus on the play now viewers cant see it

  • @toffee453 To have the reaction speed and ability to predict those events is impossible. The camera man was doing a good job by keeping ahead of the play and ensuring the shot of the expected double play, not the accident. Which he did, might I add, recover quite well.

  • @XxRoscoxX ok?

  • I bet his coach didn't say "GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME"!

  • HEADS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ATTENTION, JUSTIN BIEBER IS JUST A MYTH!!!

  • I'm suprised this doesn't happen more often.

  • @AUTH3NTICsfFANZ big fucking deal go to compton and tell me how many white guys you see

  • @AUTH3NTICsfFANZ look at the batter...

  • @AUTH3NTICsfFANZ in basketball, i didnt see one white guy, so shut up, btw, the batter was black

  • Now that's what I call a heady play!

  • I guess the runner was one step aHEAD of the play. lol

  • --looked like everybody was safe,,,,short stop missed the bag....

  • @blunted15 No, he didn't.

  • @blunted15 no he didnt, he slid his foot across it

  • @AEMoreira81 the runner shouldnt move, his job is to not let the other team make the double play. he should try to take the basemen with the ball out... good job

  • runner at second base didnt slide, shortstop made the attempt, two outs

  • @SuperBaseball53 you stupid he did slide..

  • @m00thart no dumbfuck, runner has to be outta the way before he makes the attempt to first

  • @SuperBaseball53 oh calm down its a baseball video.. clearly you are taking this to far.. i should have known i was dealing with the baseball master based on your user name.. fag

  • @m00thart sorry bout the dumbfuck thing. didnt mean to act like a dick

  • lol

  • You guys should meet TOMASITOOOOOO. He is the BEISBOL JONRON king men.

  • i the team north damn? and is that leagle i wany to try that

  • @cplover12321 what? Im assuming you are a young kid OR inebriated. either way its Notre Dame and it is not legal. the runner has a right to the basepath, he does not have to slide.

  • he is lucky he slided, other wise he had the ball at is breast or neck!!!:O

if not spelled correctly, i am dutchxD

  • @BenjaminVlaardingen for a man its chest, woman, breast

  • @ch111ris Your so wrong and your such an idiot

  • the breast is the upper part the chest is the lower part, no genders involved.

  • @ch111ris i would hate to be as stupid as you

  • @meks1tk seriously dude wtf...

  • What a dumbass.

It's like "GET THE FUCK OFF MY BASE BITCH!"

    * Three days later*

"In other news, Notre has been attacked by UConn's know baseball bat.More at 11"

  • GOTO ADBLOCK SEARCH IT INTO GOOGLE

  • fuck commercials i cunt watch the vid!

  • @skievl23 lol

  • Youtube is broken.

  • 0:01

  • とのま

  • this happened to me in San Antonio the runner was called out when i threw to first.

  • that exact same thing happened me last weekend

  • hes thinkin damn helmet almost got him

  • Totally the shortstops fault on that. The baserunner made a good slide and was on the basepath. Shortstop shouldn't have tried to throw the ball in the way of the runner.

  • i did that once. i knew i was not going to beat the throw so i just got my head in line with the throw and it worked. brings new meaning to "using your head"

  • Whoa, that guy's lucky he didn't get it in the face.

  • @fandanstan wasn't saying f u, i was helping u...fag

  • @Pitcher7rph maybe don't call him dumbass then, just a suggestion?

  • :O Here we see that helments are necessary

  • is the second baseman were smart enough to throw straight, not side armed it wouldve been a perfect double play

  • @Jaxter2798 do u mean the shortstop

  • You gotta get out of the way of that baserunners, the amount of times that I could have thrown at someones head but didn't.

  • why the fuck did he slide at 2nd??? he was already out lol

  • @AMGRaymond

its to "break up" the double play. But i say its just so that the fielder doesn't knock the wind outta you or a nice faceshot (luckily this was only a headshot)

  • @AMGRaymond what the hel was he suppose to do stand? im confused do you know anything about baseball

  • @AMGRaymond To break up the double-play, anyone that plays baseball would know that...dumbass

  • @Pitcher7rph fu too :)

  • CLUNK. D'oh.

  • that happened to me when i was catching and they said it was my fault and they got an extra base

  • way to use your head kidd

  • this happened in one of my games instead the kid got hit in the chest, and went down for the count

  • Ouch! Imagine the headache that guy is going to wake up to!

  • that really must have hurt

  • that would ring so much

  • If he purposely tryd taking a 80 mph ball throwing if not more to the head to stop one out, he crazy.

  • safe on 1st base, even if he throws it

  • doesnt matter if he was sliding hes out no matter wut if he gets hit

  • @hairyshoes3 they're not argueing if hes out or not because he already got out when the shortstop stepped on second, they are argueing if it was interference

  • That would of decapitated that poor son of a bitch if it wasnt for his safety head gear.

  • @TheJonny190 No, it just would've hurt a lot.

  • wow... and good call

  • now thats using your head

  • @iceman21002 wahahhaaha funny bro

  • it's a good thing he didn't slide a little slower. it would have hit his face

  • @Gunmanguy111 the runner has the right to stay in the base path, thats the whole point of the base path. He made a sliding attempt in the base path to get out of the way of the throw. If he wouldnt have slid it wouldve been interference. And all safe runners get to advance one base due to the ball going in the dugout.

  • no interference he slid into second and stayed in the base line maybe the short stop shouldent thow side arm

  • hahaha cool

  • @Gunmanguy111 haha I know you said it was the right call, but just wanting to make sure you knew about everything else. its all good tho brah. haha

  • @Gunmanguy111 he didnt do anything wrong cuz he slid, if he was in the base path and didnt slide, and the ball hit him square in the chest then it would be runners interference. If the runner chooses not to slide, then he must get out of the way of the throw. Some people duck, some people veer off to the left or the right, and some slide. but the fact he was in the basepath alone doesnt justify that he didnt do anything wrong, he must make an attempt to get out of the way, and he did.

  • shortstop was probly chinese they screw everything up

  • happend to me without a helmet

  • @EpicJake57 ouch

  • runner did exactly what he was supposed too. shortstop effed up, hes supposed to drag his foot across second while catching the ball so when he throws to first hes a few feet off the base and he has a clear throw..

  • This is hilarious

  • the short stop needs to learn how to throw around the runner. he couldnt even do it when the runner tried to get OUT of his way. what the hell is going to do when a runner trys to get IN his way

  • he went down to slide. thats not interference

  • the runner must be in the base path and not trying to get in the way..., the runner slid. the ump made the correct call

  • @Jeffhardyflip if you are crowding the plate and the ball hits u while the ball is in the strike zone, its a strike. so basically nothing is wrong with it lol. all u need to do is just hit ur spots and if u hit the batter cuz hes squeezing, no matter its a strike

  • runners got nads. he just missed gettin it in the face: thats why infielders throw side arm to make guys slide

  • thats wat i call using ur head

  • To me, the umpire made the correct call; that's not purposeful interference, and the runner was in the basepath.

  • @AEMoreira81 despite the runner being in the baseline he does have to move out of the way for the fielder to make a play. it is, however, the correst call because the runner tried to avoid contact by sliding

  • @AEMoreira81 that was in no way the runners fault if he wanted he could run through the guy and it would still be a legal play on his part

  • @AEMoreira81

i agree isnt the rule that you cant hinder distract or make contact

i mean the dude was sliding in the basepath

  • @GenocideVocalsguitar to break up the double play

  • @AEMoreira81 base line?

  • @AEMoreira81 but he was alreaddy out, so if the baserunner is in the way, while he's not part of the game anymore makes it interference

  • @c0lcr0ss No, it doesn't. The baserunner still has the right to go to whatever base he was running to before he got out...especially when he was out two seconds before he got to the base. The refs made the right call. If they ever changed that rule to make it like you were saying, teams could just get one baserunner out, then throw the ball at him and claim interference to get the other guy out.

  • @AEMoreira81 i agree , i know he did not mean it , but you are right

  • @AEMoreira81 yeah but the runner should move

  • @AEMoreira81 Interference doesn't have to be purposeful.

  • josh is a good friend of mine.hahaha funny

  • thats totally interference! and if the batter doesent make an effort to move and the ball hits him he still gets his base! clearly im23412313 doesent know Baseball!

  • thats not interference get your head at of your ass that happens in mlb and its happened to me in hs and never once has it been called interference

  • no you have to make an attempt to avoid the ball...if you crowd the plate and you barely get hit you will not get a free base

  • yeah but its not the same he slid and everything he was doing all he could

  • The real reason helmets are worn

  • @OMGedInStoresNearYou ...not really.

  • @curtmobile5239 it was a joke smart one

  • @OMGedInStoresNearYou One of them.

  • this happen to me while I was playing short except he stopped it with his face...

  • lol thank god for helmets

  • GO UCONN!!

  • it's not interference the short stop chooses to throw side arm, therefore he hits the runner in the head. also, the runner isn't gonna just stop and get out of the shortstop's way

  • @whitesox619 your supposed to throwside arm to get him to slide so the first baseman can pick the ball up easier. btw GO SOX

  • @Lspurls18 idk what your talking about..thats not why they do it lol, baserunners slide on purpose so they can potentially catch the legs of the shortstop/second baseman and not get called for interference..they throw it sidearm because its faster than throwing it overhand..

  • This is not interference and the runner at first is not out because you can't assume the double play in this situation. The runner did a great job of having balls and taking it off the head to break it up. If the shortstop didn't have that goofy shortstop side-armed thing going he wouldn't have it him.

  • If the ball hits the runner's hand then I'm gonna say that it's interference. If it hits his head then it's still interference unless he makes some kind of effort to get out of the way (even as small as lowering his head). It's like getting hit by the pitch, you don't get the base unless you make an effort to avoid getting hit. Runners can't purposely alter the direction of the ball. I would have to review this video some more, but initially I would say both runners are out.

  • You don't get a base unless you make an effort to get out of the way? what?!?! That's absolutely not true. The only reason this might not be interference is since he slid. The rule is that you either have to slide or run out of the base line to allot the middle infielder to turn two

  • Regardless of the fact that he's sliding the runner is still not allowed to purposefully interfere with the direction of the ball, so if the umpire thinks that's what the runner has done then he (and the batter in this situation) is out.

  • it actually is true now...if you are a person that crowds the pplate and you dont attempt to get out of the way the ump can say you were leaning in make you stay

  • lol he slid and the guy threw the ball n it hit him wat do u want him to do

  • lol

  • doesnt look like he woulda got him anyways.

  • not the batter's fault! The shortstop should have known where he was throwing. YOU try stopping automatically when you're running as fast as you can.

  • Why don't you try stopping in mid throw then restarting in time to get the out. doesn't happen does it?

  • i kno that but that doesnt make it the fucking batter's fault

  • cuz that could cause an injury... and u wudn't have the time to do that anyway....

  • Yeah. that was my point. it was a rhetorical question.

  • No way. Runner started a slide and did not go out of the baseline to slide. Good play by 1st base runner. Broke it up nicely.

  • i remember stopping a ball with my head, we won the game

  • i do too bad idea i was the pitcher lol

  • First of all it's not the 2nd baseman who made the play. That would be what's called the shortstop. And secondly, that's how shortstops turn a double play. You want to slide away from the base path. If you pause it when the ball hits his mitt he does have his foot on the side of the bag. As a short stop when turning it that way you never want to actually step on the bag.

  • yes, you slide out of the line(path if you may) to avoid contact with the runner and to create a clear throw with the first baseman.

  • fearlessmentaily299 he batted and it bounce when he batted at 0:04 pause it

  • lol

  • good thing he had helmet

  • Like everyone says, use your head!

  • theres no cherry bombs in baseball

  • idk but for me it looks like the 2nd baseman touches the bag gets of then gets the ball, then hit the dude in the head. Idk its hard to tell though

  • yeah it says saves double play nto all the outs just the one at first and runner scores

  • oooh wow!! good thing he had his helmet on!!

  • the runner wasnt even out at second

  • Pause it on :06 he was out.

  • they have a stupid sayin tha if u r close to the bag then he is out. u dont necisseraly have to touch the bag. they do it in the majors all the time

  • agreed, you're not going to catch me intentionally blocking a ball with my head

  • no sah

  • That was a very damn good move on his part. It shows a certain skill level as well as common sense. You see an arm, possibly a baseball, coming straight for your head, common sense says slide and still make the play.
