Not a single studio album in 16 years, unless you want to count his classical album for solo piano 8 years ago. Where has he been? Why can't he put out an album? Not even George Harrison went that long. He's so good. He's 60 now. Come back Billy :)
If I had to guess I'd say he's just lazy. He realizes he can make a mint touring and doesn't want to work to write and record songs. It's a damn shame since he's a genius and we've lost so many great songs.
Billy Joel is the man

Wow! They got Troy McClure to do the voice over introduction: how cool is that!?!?

I'll never forget him voicing Dodger in the Disney film Oliver and Company.

Ripp is one of the worse SOBs you'll ever find.

This is the first time I've seen Ripp. He's even more scum of the earth that I originally thought! Bob

Saw the Last Play at Shea. I about lost my mind when he did Zanzibar. I just hope he takes care of himself. He was huffing and puffing out there.

"It's the kind of place where the regulars often forget to have dinner." This is a wonderful historical piece. Thank you, in a very heartfelt way.

Zanzibar is the song, from his 1978 album - 52nd Street. He recently revived this song for his current tour 2006-8
