  • @scc927 Check John Kohler shop he has found a new dehydrator better than excalibur in several ways and less noisy for sure. It just released some months ago.

  • Hey, just thought youd might like to know or anyone else.. it worked for silverbeet :)) but it turned out kinda flat like nori but still delicious. Only i made it a little too salty :((( But i'll keep working on it. Thanks Dara :))

  • @BeMyVforever

bery good to know. things get saltier when the moisture goes away

    practice :)

  • MORE RECIPES!

  • Hi Dara, I have a question about nutritional yeast. Is it similar to yeast extract in that it may bring out candida in people who are prone to it?

  • MM I'd love to try them :) Hi Dara, I first saw you on Dan's channel. Hope you are open, you got a nice smile :)

  • @RssMMA *Hope you are OKAY not open lol *

  • @RssMMA i am open and okay!!! :) hope you are toooo!!!!

  • Kale is one of my favs, I definitely want to try this recipe. Thanks Dara!

  • You can also make kale chips in the oven with the door closed at 200 degrees for 20 minutes on the top rank and they are perfect. What is the dehydrator are you using?

  • @justdoit7172 I am trying this as I discovered my oven will not go low enough...and I had everything ready to go! It's better raw, you're not losing any nutritional value, but what can ya do?!

  • @ElleDrake

    go with the flow!!! :)

  • Very nice, great video.

  • i need to get myself a Dara. You are glowingly beautiful, i'm in love haha ;)

  • @jeecreative

    haha. that is so sweet!

  • Thank you Dara for being such an inspiration. Your recipies do make it easy to stay raw. I'm three months in and still having cravings for the bad stuff...your recipies are a huge help. I made your zuchinni hoummus yesterday and it was delicious. It tasted just like the real thing!!

  • @ConquerersSpirit

i am going to give you some very satifying easy things to make. :)

  • @MamaSheppard

stay motivated and inspired. the energy goes back and forth and inpires and motivates me and so on...

  • I don't yet have a dehydrator so I will try to make these in the oven because I can't wait to try them!!! I think it will really help with the cravings I have been having for chips. Thank you!!!

  • Dun dun dunnnn... how will the kale chips turn out? I hope you have a second tomorrow to show us. That looks delicious Dara!. Just 2 things: What can I substitue for kale? (I can't get kale in my country), What can I use instead of nutrtional yeast? (not available here either).

  • @anitius101 brewers yeast?

skip it and do everything else.

did a video on kale chip finale.

  • i have a question, what do you eat when you go out or to someones house for dinner?

  • @nightgangl7

i want to answer all of these questions! right now in the middle of some serious fun

with amazing raw food people who are staying with me. videos on this and more info

coming up! i love the questions keep them coming.

  • Oh my gosh...I couldn't help it...I got all the stuff to make your decadent kale chips!!! I've been doing raw for over 6 months, and I still need that transitional stuff every now and then. Kale chips rock!! Thanks Dara...love your channel. Can't wait!!!

  • Nice video with great tips that I haven't seen before. I have made kale chips before and they often come out so tiny. I usually cut the kale off the stems and then cut smaller pieces. This looks so much easier, tearing leaves off of the stems and then using the whole, large leaves - resulting in decent size chips. I think I also tended to massage a little too vigorously. I also, like the idea of sprinkling extra nutritional yeast on after coating them. Can't be too cheesy for me! Thanks!

  • Your the best RAW cheif in the world.

  • @g19hoops83

    WOW! thank you!

  • @g19hoops83

wow. awesome. there are some really great ones! thanks!

  • thats what those things on the fridge are?/!

  • @jammatoonarmy

    yes, spice canisters :)

  • @daradubinet i have slight obsessive and compulsive issues, you see! so they were upsetting me slightly as they weren't arranged with structure!! offit i know! :\ but now i know their purpose, i'll be able to let this go!! :D - peace

  • I remember when I was a kid. Cheetos didn't have MSG in them...so I was allowed to have them.

  • @dread313

yes, i know, but i think they are made from genetically modified corn as well as other weird things.

    :)

  • @daradubinet Your right. Now I wouldn't even touch one.

    thank you! thank you!

  • Awesome! and there is a way to make your own solar dehydrator everyone. just look it up ! :)

  • i am so gaga over caramel.. is there a recipe that will trick the flavor with raw foods?

  • @91Gamalex

yes, pine nuts and honey or dates with salt.

  • @daradubinet Thank you Dara! i'll look into it :) (caramel recipe)

  • amazing recipe

  • @TheMorningCoffee

    thank you :)

  • is there anything i can use to sub the nuts as i am allergic to all nuts!?

  • @balletdancer247 You can try sunflower seeds, but you might need to use more oil because cashews are much more fatty than sunflower seeds. You'll also need to soak them longer. I can't guarantee this will work because I've never tried cheesy kale chips before - I normally just drizzle kale with olive oil, dehydrate and eat them plain.

  • @balletdancer247

oh leave out the nuts they will be delicious still!

  • i have a ? i live in east Tennessee and we don't have anything like a whole foods or any stile stores like that here.so our selection of produce is really slim compared to somewhere like your neck of the woods. so my ? is what are some basic veg can i eat and get the nutrients that i need every day? keep in mind we only have your basic veg and slim organics. thanks so much for your great videos

  • @bcrawdad1 There are two Earth Fare stores in Knoxville. That's where I go to get seriously organic veggies, fruits and all the good stuff to help keep you raw :)

  • @KathyJAshley

    great, great, GREAT!

  • @bcrawdad1

    get your organic veggies

and keep watching! more to come :)

  • I like naughty.

  • @darealdjnutz

funny :), then you will like these.

  • Thanks, Dara!! Xoxo
