@SemenTheMerphiles Try out Unholy Darkness then come back. That one, you can even drink your opponents blood if you latch onto them in combat and you are strong enough, and that is just ONE of the things that is better.

This is a great mod,but in my opinion the best one is Unholy Darkness.I was tempted to choose this one because of the transformations which no other mods have,but Unholy Darkness changes a lot of stuff.You can do some quests as a vampire,you get more power as you age or by feeding,you're burned on holy ground,garlic harms you,you can feed on others in combat or by seducing them,there are vampire hunters who come after you if you have a high vampire bounty and NPC vampires become a challenge.

@Gokuisthebest312 I agree, and not only that, I feel it is more akin to cyrodiilic lore. If this was Valenwood, then this mod woudl be more lore friendly though (since valenwood some valenwood clans have polymorphism abilities, especially the mist one). I love that mod, and feel it rivals that awesome vampire mod in Morrowind. Makes vampire a commitment and a fun one at that and truly revamps the game! Sad it came late in 2011 though.

@1234yersiman yeah if it had come out sooner we'd have enough time to enjoy it.Now that Skyrim's out,no mods can make Oblivion good enough to make us focus our attention on it over Skyrim :P

@1234yersiman wow that would be SO cool!I was kinda disappointed in the vampire part in Skyrim,but the rest of the game was just amazing so you don't really care,but if whoever made Unholy Darkness makes a similar mod in Skyrim then we'll have perfection:Amazing graphics,intense gameplay,badass fun-to-play vampires vs vamps from other clans and/or (hopefully) werewolves!omg it would be so cool that we'd have to find a new word to describe it! :P

werewolf mod? well if your looking for one : curse of Hircine is a good one, you need to upgrade that one with stuff like symphonies of the night or otther werewolf addons

@LukeJamesKnight Believe it or not, there is actually one that is better than this one for Dark Brotherhood quests. It is called Unholy Darkness, and with this one, you can actually drain the blood of you opponents while you fight, and even have rewards based on the blood you drink. Not only that, you can instantly drain the blood of your opponents while they sleep (if they are weak enough). But yea, that one came out in 2011...

@Tristen95gi Do you have the latest version of Oblivion Script Extender? I believe it needs that to work (aka bring up the pop up menu when hitting v or the dark heart). Also, make sure you have no other mods that change the vampire script activated.

@taysonm12 make sure you are using obmm and you need to put all the mod files in your data file than load the game using obse just make sure obse is in the same file as your oblivion lancher and it should work fine i had the same prob at first but obse fixed it

thats looks prety cool! u need that, 1 of the mods wer u feed to get stronger not weaker, that one mod dont know the name, but it makes daytime shorter and nightime 50 % longer, the one where thers a 2% chance of being woken up by vampire hunters trying to kill u and then the game is maxd out fun for vampires
